I observed from a distance as Renji found himself face-to-face with Sakayanagi.

It was at the boulevard, away from prying eyes and curious ears. Except for mine.

Sakayanagi addressed Renji with an air of authority. "Renji, you've proven your loyalty to me by rising to Class A and working as my eyes and ears in Class C. However, there is one question that lingers in my mind. Are you truly committed to our cause, or do you have personal attachments that might interfere with your duties?"

Renj met Sakayanagi's gaze without hesitation. "Sakayanagi-san, I am absolutely dedicated to our cause. My loyalty to Class A is unwavering. I have no personal attachments that could compromise my duties."

Sakayanagi's expression remained as unreadable, and she continued to press her inquiry. "Renji, there are rumors that you have a close relationship with Ryo Ayanokoji. Is there any truth to this? Can you assure me that you are not emotionally involved with her?"

Renji's response was calculated and unwavering. "Sakayanagi-san, my connection with Ayanokoji is purely professional. There is no emotional involvement between us that would interfere with my loyalty to Class A."

Sakayanagi nodded, seemingly satisfied with Renji's response. "Very well, Renji. I will accept your word for now. However, remember that I am not one to take betrayal lightly. If you ever waver in your loyalty or prove to be a liability, there will be consequences."

Renji nodded. "I understand, Sakayangi-san, I am committed to our goals, and I will continue to serve Class A to the best of my abilities."

With that, Sakayanagi departed, leaving Renji standing alone in the secluded garden.

Renji's departure from the secluded garden had been witnessed by me, who remained hidden from view.

As Renji walked away, a voice suddenly rang out, causing him to pause in his tracks. "Impressive, Renji. You seem to have a talent for reading between the lines."

Startled, Renji looked around, trying to locate the source of the voice. He had no doubt who the voice belonged to.

I revealed myself for a split second, allowed my form to materialize just enough for Renji to catch a glimpse of me.

Renji's gaze locked onto mine, and he nodded in acknowledgment. "I knew you were listening, Ryo. You always seem to be one step ahead, don't you?"

My form dissipated back into the shadows, leaving only my voice behind. "In this school, Renji, it pays to be one step ahead. Loyalty, trust, and alliances are ever-shifting, and I won't let you become a pawn in someone else's game."

I skipped class and went into my space.

Kage was watched attentively as I raised my right hand, palm outstretched, and focused.

In this training session, I was working on refining my telekinesis.

First step was easy. An eraser. Then it became increasingly more difficult.

A pencil, a notebook, a chair, a table, a sofa, a tree and so on.

Kage occasionally chimed in with encouragement and observations. "Your control is exceptional, Lady Ryo. Your psychic abilities are unrivaled."

Although focused on my training, offered a small nod of acknowledgment. "I need to maintain this level of mastery. It's a necessary part of our plans."

After finishing my training session, Kage and I settled down for a game of cards in the tranquil environment of her self-created space. As they shuffled the deck and prepared for the game, I asked a question that caught Kage's attention.
