Sakayanagi sat in her room, reading the message on her OAA App.

As she read through the list of participating classes, her eyes stopped at one class in particular: Class 2-B.

Arisu couldn't help but chuckle at the thought.

Interested in a new kind of chaos, Takano-san?

Reiji's phone beeped. "Ooooh, a message! Let's see..."

With a swift tap on her phone, she began typing her response to Arisu:

New challenges are always intriguing, Sakayanagi. Count me in.

Reiji sent the message, her red eyes reflecting a hint of excitement.

I glanced at the message that Reiji sent.

"Time to go, Reiji."

"Aww." I dragged her to the doorway where she finally stood up. "Fine, fine."

~Time skip~

I took a sip of my coffee and began explaining the rules to Reiji.

"I took you here to explain how the Class Round works, Reiji. The top five students from each class will have a showdown against each other. If your class loses, you'll face a penalty of minus fifty class points."

Reiji leaned forward, her red eyes gleaming with interest. "Penalties, huh? Sounds like fun."

I nodded. "The other classes that aren't participating in the Class round won't face penalties, but they can choose to help one of the classes in the showdown. It's a chance for alliances and rivalries to play out on a larger scale."

Reiji's grin widened, and she couldn't contain her excitement. She slammed her hand on the table, causing the cups and saucers to rattle.

"This is going to be epic, Boss! We can stir up some real chaos!"

The café's patrons turned to look at us, their expressions a mixture of annoyance and curiosity. The commotion was getting out of hand, and I quickly gestured for Reiji to calm down.

"Reiji, not here," I hissed.

But Reiji was already on her feet, her manic laughter filling the café. "Let's bring the chaos, Boss! Let's see this world burn!"

I sighed, realizing there was no stopping her now. With all eyes on us, I paid for our drinks. "Time to go, Reiji."

As we exited the café, Reiji was still laughing, and I couldn't help but shake my head.

Reiji's raucous laughter echoed down the street as we walked away from the café, drawing the attention of everyone nearby.

People passing by couldn't help but glance at us, their curiosity piqued by Reiji's conspicuous mirth. The whispers started, a low hum of gossip and speculation that followed us like a shadow.

"Who are they?"

"Did you see the girl? She's completely unhinged!"

"I heard they're from Class 2-B."

Reiji, oblivious to the attention we were attracting, continued to laugh with unbridled enthusiasm. The sound of her laughter encompassed a delightful blend of amusement, eager anticipation, and a touch of madness, intensifying the rumors that spun effortlessly through our midst.

"Reiji," I said, trying to rein her in. "We need to be careful. We don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves, especially with the Class Round coming up."

Reiji ignored me and continued laughing.

I sighed.

We found a nearby ice cream shop and stepped inside. The sweet aroma of freshly made waffle cones wafted through the air as we approached the counter.
