It was the night of the dance
The day that everyone had been so hyped about
Me and finney were getting ready to collect our girls
"Tonight will be a night to remember." Finn chuckles to himself
"Hell yeah!" I was excited, of course, but in three days, y/n would be moving
After 10 minutes, we left me house and made our way across the road to y/n's house
Knock
Knock
Knock
Vance opens the door
"Oh hey, you guys, come on in, they're just about to come down." Vance smiles at us, and we enter the house
"Oh my god, look at you two handsome fellas, here let me take a photo of ya!" Y/n's mum pleads as she pulls out her camera, we strike a pose, and she takes about ten different photos and tells us what to do
"MUM, WE'RE COMING DOWN!" I hear someone scream from upstairs
That's when i see her walking down
My jaw drops on how beautiful she looks. Wait, not beautiful, gorgeous
"Dulce Jesús." I mumble to myself
"Hey, robin!" She plants a kiss on my cheek
"You look incredible." I say still in shock
"And we're matching, hey, where is your bandana?"
Oh, I forgot I wasn't wearing it
"Oh, well, I can't afford one of those flower thingies for your wrist, so I thought you could tie my bandana round it instead."
"Aww, robin, that's so cute."
She smiles bright whilst I tie it round her wrist
"Ok, more pictures!" Y/n's mum screams in excitement. Oh, how I love this woman
She was kind of like my mum in a way
"Mum, that's enough, they're going to be late!" Vance says, saving us from being there for another thirty minutes
"Ok, ok, have fun, sweeties." She smiles wide, and we leave
"We all look amazing!" Finney jumps in joy, and we all laugh
"We sure do, babe." Donna lies her head on Finns shoulder
"We sure do, babe!" I copy in a mocking tone, making y/n laugh
"Shut up, robin, or you won't see tomorrow!" Donna warns
We get to the school hall, and when we enter the room, the music practically explodes in our face
We sit ourselves on a table
"Man, I wanna dance." Finney says to no one in general
"Same, let's go, what about you two?" Donna quietened us
"Eh, not right away, but you go have some fun." Y/n pats Donna's back, and they leave hand in hand
Someone then sits on our table
And of course it was bitchy alina
"Heeyy." She snorts, I could smell the alcohol on her
I guess not even alina could ruin y/n's day cause she greets her with a smile
"Hey alina, you here with anyone?"
"YyEah, BUzz iS myy dAte!"
"Cool."
Alina gets up and leaves wobbling a bit
"Wanna dance now?" I give my hand out to y/n and she takes it
I lead her to the dance floor and I just let loose, I didn't care about anyone else, if they were watching or judging
After an hour they start to play slow songs
Starting with 'puppy love'
"Aww, I love this song." Y/n swoons at the music
I place my hands on her hips and she throws her arms around my neck as me we sway in a circle
"I love you robin." She grins and kisses me
It felt like no one else was there just me and her dancing
It was perfect
Her eyes felt extra sparkly wich made her somehow even more attractive
I'm really going to miss her when she leaves
She was the most beautiful girl I've ever set my eyes on
To think I use to make her cry upsets me but that was a near distant memory now
I was really the luckiest man alive
After a while the normal songs came back on for the lonely people and y/n exits herself outside
Fin and donna join me back at the table with slices of pizza and punch
We talk about what a good job they did in the hall with decorations and on how we're happy that the year is coming to an end
"Hey, where's y/n, she hasn't returned." Donna points out with a worried look resting apon her face
"I'll go check on her."
I walk outside and roam around the school looking for y/n
I found her sitting at our normal hangout spot
"Hey, mi amour, you good?" She looks up from the ground and locks eyes with me
"Yeah, I just needed some fresh air, it's way to stuffy in there." She dismissed
"Ok."
"Look at the stars tonight, they're so pretty!" Y/n stares at the sky as she lays down
I join her and we just stay like that in silence
"Robin, I don't want to leave, you always dream about leaving this place, so much of it is a shithole, the kidnappings especially, but it's what we call home, I like it here, wait no, I love it here, it has my friends, my family and you, I don't want to lose all of that and start a new life, these past thew months have been amazing, what will I do?"
I cling on to her as she shifts her focus from the sky to my face
"You're going to be fine, You'll make new friends, keep old ones, make new memories whilst also remembering the ones you made, I have not a doubt in the world that you won't be successful, you're the best thing that has ever happend to me and I hope you know that."
We press our foreheads together
"I love you robin arellano."
"I love you too y/n y/l/n."
