After my parents finished their conversation, I approached my mom and asked if I could talk to her privately. She eventually left my Dad and we both went a little far from them.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" the woman who gave birth to me asked.

"Mom, who's Vincent?" I asked.

"What?"

"I heard you talking to to a guy on the phone named Vincent, who is he?"

"Oh...well, he's Josh's childhood friend..." my mom responded.

I then remembered that one time when I spied on Josh the second time, Phil mentioned the word 'boss', and according to his diary, his boss's name is Vincent.

"So, Phil works for Josh's friend, huh?" I thought "But I should still make sure that it's not someone else with the name Vincent"

"What's his full name?" I asked.

"He's Italian. His name is Vincent Matteo," she answered.

"In that case, I got the right Vincent,"  I thought.

"What did he call you for?" I asked.

"Well, he told me to meet him at his house to discuss something. But I told him I was busy at the moment because I came to see Chris," she answered.

"What's the discussion about? Is it an emergency?"

"No, it's just something that has to do with Josh"

"He'll be in Vincent's house too?"

"Yeah, he will," my mother said.

I noticed that she lied. How? Well, when Dad asked her where Josh was, she responded that he was at work and he was going to work all day, meaning that he couldn't go to his friend's house.  Why did she lie?

"Is he your friend too?" I asked.

"Of course. Any friend of my husband is a friend of mine as well," she said in a friendly tone.

"I see..." I responded, "Well, I would like to meet this Vincent, he seems nice"

"Well, sure. I guess...I'll see if you could meet him"

"Can you tell me what he looks like?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure. I have his picture, I'll send it to you when we get back home"

"Ok then. Well, that's all I wanted to ask. Thanks, Mom"

"No problem. Oh, and before you do anything else, I've got a question for you," she said.

"Uhh...Yeah?" I asked.

"Why are you asking me so many questions about this guy? Are you investigating or something?" she asked.

"No, I'm not investigating," I lied. "I just got curious about him when I heard you talking to him. I just wanted to know who he is because I've never seen nor heard about this guy"

"You're always curious..." Sonia sighed.

Normally, I tell everything to my Mom and Dad, but now I'm hiding from them. So, I suppose they all trust me. Or maybe my mother did notice that and she's acting like she doesn't. Sonia then left to go back home as she got what she came for.

"Isn't Mom supposed to drive us back home?" my little brother asked.

"I'll explain everything to you when we get inside"

"Ok," said the little boy.

Once the three of us entered inside, I immediately went into my room while my father and my little sibling went into the police's room so that he could explain the car accident to his son. I decided to call my friend and tell her about what happened.

"Wait, really? That's fantastic! I'm happy for you!" she exclaimed after I said that Chris woke up from a coma.

"Thanks," I responded. "But he doesn't know anything. My Dad is telling him right now about the accident in his room. But, there's something else I want to tell you"

"What's up?" the beautiful girl asked.

I explained to her about the conversation that I heard with Mom and Vincent and what she answered when I asked her about him.

"I see...did she send you the photo of him?" she asked.

Right after she asked that, a notification came up on my phone. It was my Mom, she sent me the picture.

"Yeah," I answered "I see it right now"

"Can you send it to me?" the beautiful girl asked.

"Ok"

I saw the picture and sent it to her. Not going to lie, he looked young and handsome. As Sabrina was looking at it, she spoke

"Wait, I see something"

"What?"

"Look closely at the picture. There's a bracelet that has the letter V, the same one that we saw in the footage and on the broken glass, on Vincent's wrist"

I haven't noticed this detail. Well, now we're sure that the guy in this picture is the Vincent we've been looking for, the one in the diary. But how does my mother know him? Another notification pooped up on my phone. It was Mom telling me that she spoke with him and that Vincent agreed to meet me. I said it to my friend afterward.

"Oh really? When?" she asked.

"She said that I can go meet him on 1rst May, this Saturday," I answered.

"That's a good chance to get to know him and gain more information about what Josh is up to!" she exclaimed.

"Sabrina..."

"Mmh?"

"Do you think I should tell my Dad about this? I don't think it's a good idea anymore..."

"What changed your mind all of a sudden?" she asked.

"I don't know...it's just that I don't keep secrets from my Mom and Dad. If something happens, I always tell them, but now I'm hiding from them. I just...have a bad feeling about this...So, what do you think? Should I tell him?"

"I don't know either..." she responded "But technically, you won't keep it a secret forever because there's no doubt that he'll know anyways"

"Yeah, I know. I'm not even sure if he suspects me and he's not showing it"

"Maybe...I don't know"

"I'm not sure if I should keep hiding it, or reveal it...but I don't want to give up. I HAVE to find out Josh's secret, I have to know what it is that he's hiding so badly," I said
