I sat on the floor not at all amused as my Dad forced my siblings to do jumping jacks much to their dismay. He was even forcing Lorraine to help something I knew wouldn't go over well. When they got to pushups, I frowned seeing he hadn't changed his outlook. I ignored him when he tried to call me and my sister over. I simply shook my head at his antics. Even when Kim and Jessica tried to convince me to win Dad over, I knew they didn't mean it.

I was proven when it came time for the next activity involving them throwing an egg at each other and trying not to let it break. They pointed at each other competitively making me chuckle from my new spot on a chair next to Dad supervising so that they didn't get hurt. Dad had sent me a glare but I ignored it watching Dad try to guide the two to the best of his ability.

"Toss," he ordered Jessica who rolled her eyes and tossed it to her sister without another thought. I gave the girls thumbs up proud of them. Kim tossed it back gracefully. It was then when Jessica caught it again that the fireworks started to go off.

"Dad!" she complained in her usual whiny but adorable voice.

"I said, toss!" Dad ordered with a glare in her direction. I shared a concerned look with Kim knowing this would end badly.

"Dad! Come on! Just lay off and let us have a break!" she shouted causing me to nod in agreement with her.

"Just toss!" Dad shouted obviously frustrated.

"I'm tossing," my sister said with attitude finally tossing it to her twin.

"No crying," he snapped in return as Kim caught it. She looked angry too, maybe even angrier than her twin. "Step back," Dad ordered the girls.

"That's it! We can't handle the pressure, Dad," Kim announced breaking it not just for herself but for her sister. I winced running after her to go check on her, Jessica behind me.

"Eggs cost money," we overheard him announce in a horrible British accent that made me cringe. He was saying that when he was having the girls throw around an egg, something that was proven to break it almost every time unless you were really good. The twins, in this case, were.

Once the girls were comforted, I got out my phone to text Daniel while Dad was busy with Jake and Mike doing a three-legged race. I didn't even bother watching them. From what I was hearing, this was going to end badly.

Daniel: Dad is going INSANE! He won't even let me leave the house.

Me: Don't worry. My Dad's acting the same way. He's trying to coach Jake and Mike on how to do a three-legged race. He's being surprisingly hard on a seven-year-old

Daniel: LOL!

I smiled to myself and continued texting him.

Me: I'm lucky I was able to get out of it

Daniel: Lucky..........

Me: Yeah. Pretty sure he's furious with me but it'll be worth it.

Daniel: To make your siblings happy?

Me: You know it

I looked up from my phone and saw Jake and Mike fighting each other. I stood up attempting to grab Mike and take him off his brother with a sigh as he hit him on the leg. I glared at the two and sat back down this time concentrating on them in case something else happened despite the fact that I wanted to keep texting.

I sighed to myself from the window as I watched all of my younger siblings other than Lorraine and Sarah doing jumping jacks again. Jessica looked about ready to explode. I really did feel bad for my siblings. Dad's plan of getting them to isolate themselves from their friends was totally taking a turn on them. I was just about ready to just sneak them out to hang out with their friends anyway.
