"SO, LET ME get this straight," Tessa said as she leaned against the lockers next to Beck's, giving the small blonde a quizzical look. "You're going off with Scott, Lydia, and Malia to a town no one has heard of in over thirty years because a mysterious voice on an old jeep's radio told you to?"
"Not just any voice," Beck sighed as she closed her locker. Turning to her redheaded friend, the small blonde gave her a look. "Scott and Lydia said it was Stiles. And I believe them." She added quickly when Tessa narrowed her eyes.
"I don't doubt it was Stiles," Tessa said, shaking her head. "I just can't believe you're going with them."
"We have to find him, Tess."
"And what am I supposed to do while you're gone?"
"Make sure Liam doesn't do anything stupid," Beck explained as the two started heading out of the school. Beck loved her boyfriend, she did, but she couldn't argue that without proper supervision Liam could be a bit impulsive. And stupid.
"He's trying to catch a Ghost Rider. I'd have better luck turning into a unicorn the next full moon." Tessa scuffed with a shake of her head. "Besides he's bound to do something stupid with you gone. You're literally his impulse control."
Releasing a laugh, Beck stopped to turn to her best friend. "Though I can't argue with that fact, I can't help catch a Ghost Rider. I can't see them. I'd be more help trying to find Stiles." When Tessa released a groan, Beck tilted her head. "If it makes you feel better, I give you permission to punch Liam if he does try to do something stupid."
"Who said I needed your permission?" Tessa scuffed before pulling Beck into a hug. "Just be careful," she whispered. Pulling away, Tessa gave her blonde friend a pointed look. "You have no clue what you're walking into in this town."
BECK HAD HER head resting against the window as Malia pulled over. They had arrived in Canaan.
Lydia and Malia turned in their seats, looking down at the alpha sitting next to Beck fast asleep. Throughout the trip, Scott slowly sank further out in the seat as he slept soundly. Now his legs shoved Beck's into the door as he snored softly.
Lydia reached forward to shake him awake gently but Beck stopped her.
With an evil smirk, Beck slapped Scott's thigh with her hand. "Wake up!" She said loudly, making Scott jump awake.
"Beck," he groaned, rubbing his eyes. Beck could only giggle as Scott blinked sleep out of his eyes, looking around at the three girls watching him. "Where are we?"
"According to the GPS, this is it," Malia explained, trying to suppress the smile on her lips from Beck scaring Scott.
Scott sat up, his puppy dog eyes looking out the window. Beck turned towards the window too. They all looked around at the neighborhood they were parked in before exiting Malia's car.
