THE LAST DAY of school. It couldn't have come soon enough. For some, it came too soon. The rest didn't care; they were too excited to spend time away from the curse of Beacon Hills High School and enjoy some much-needed time with themselves.

Beck and Liam leaned against the back of the jeep as Mase stood next to them. The high school parking lot was filled with the students of Beacon Hills High as they said their final goodbyes to their friends, shared plans on what they would be doing over the summer or congratulated the graduating seniors for making it.

Scott and Stiles had asked the three to meet them after school at the jeep—something about wanting to tell them something.

Liam wrapped his arm around Beck's shoulders as he and Mase discussed what they would do over summer break. Their plans ranged from taking day trips to the beach to going on camping trips to hanging at home and playing video games. Mostly play video games. Beck couldn't help but laugh at the two. She shook her head, leaning further into Liam's side and listening to them. Of course, the two were including the small blonde, Tessa, and Corey in their plans. They didn't want to break up the group.

Finally, Scott and Stiles arrived, large grins on both of their faces at the excited conversation Mase and Liam were in the middle of. Stiles shooed Beck and Liam away before opening the back of the jeep to place his stuff inside, the couple instantly returning to their place as they looked up at the two graduating seniors.

Tired of the suspense they were putting them through, Beck released a playful huff. "So, what was it you two wanted to talk to us about that couldn't wait?"

"Well, somebody's impatient," Scott teased the small blonde with a smirk. Beck released a laugh as she flicked her hand towards the werewolf. Scott was shoved back lightly making him release a laugh before pointing a warning finger at the young witch. "Hey, no witchcraft on school grounds."

"Hey don't steal my line," Beck whined playfully at the familiar warning. Meanwhile, Liam playfully pulled her into his side.

"Okay!" Stiles called once he had everything situated. He turned to the younger teens, clapping his hands in front of him. "So, Liam since you're the new alpha-"

"I'm not an alpha," Liam interrupted, giving Stiles a look.

"Right, but, you know, alpha in training," Stiles clarified.

"Well, I'd have to kill an alpha," Liam continued as he tilted his head.

"Liam," Stiles sighed, trying to get to his point. "Since you're taking over, the most important thing you can remember is that Mason is always gonna be the one who's there to save your ass all the time," he said, pointing to the dark-skinned boy.

"Well, not all the time," Scott chimed in with a tilt of his head, looking over at his best friend.

"Most of the time though."

"Did you hit your head?" Beck asked with narrow eyes pointed towards Stiles. "Cause I remember something completely different."

"Most of the time," Stiles said louder, reaching into his jeep. "Which is why... I think you're gonna need this." He held out an item towards Mase. The sight of it made Beck slap a hand over her mouth to smother her laughter.

Mase looked down at the baseball bat the older boy held out towards him. He tilted his head with a raised eyebrow. "Uh, I don't play baseball."

"Right, neither do I," Stiles said with a smile as Beck and Liam practically crumbled into each other as they struggled to suppress their laughter. "It's... it's not the point. Here you go."

Biting her lip, Beck took the bat from Stiles with a smile. "We'll cherish it always," she said through giggles before passing the bat to Mase.

"Secondly," Stiles said as Mase looked down at the bat in his hands in confusion. Stiles then pointed a finger at the small blonde standing beside him. "Always listen to her. Beck knows more about this life than anyone. What she says will help you keep everything under control while we're gonna. Listen to what she says and take care of her. Cause if she gets hurt, by anything including yourself, we will come back and skin your furry ass."

Beck pinched at the bridge of her nose as Liam's eyes widened. He looked over at Scott but found his alpha nodding in agreement.

"What-what makes you think I would ever hurt Beck?" Liam stuttered as he gave the two older boys a look.

"Nothing, just making sure you understand what you're being left to protect," Stiles shrugged. "Besides, that's not even mentioning what Derek would do to you if he ever heard that you hurt his little sister."

"Well," Beck cried out, standing up straight. "We're gonna get going." She leaned towards Stiles, kissing him on the cheek. "See you at home," she said before turning to Scott, kissing his cheek too. "See you tomorrow Scott."

Scott pulled the small blonde into a hug before giving her a kiss of his own on her cheek. "See ya," he said as they pulled away from each other.

Smiling, Beck waved bye to the two boys as she grabbed Liam's waiting hand. "Love you guys."

The three walked away from the jeep, Mase still looking down at the bat in confusion.

"So... what now?" Liam suddenly asked as they walked towards their parked cars. The parking lot was starting to steadily thin out as everyone left to either start their summer or prepare for graduation tomorrow.

"What do you mean? Now we start our summer break." Mase chuckled as he looked up at the couple walking next to him.

"No. I mean..." Liam released a sigh as he tried to find the words to say. "What do we do after today? What's next in the future for us?"

"Well... we still have junior year," Beck hummed as she swung her and Liam's conjoined hands.

"Then there's our senior year," Mase added.

"Graduate high school," Beck shrugged.

"Go to college."

"Graduate college."

"Find a job."

"Get married," Beck added with a small smile.

"Build a family," Mase smirked as he glanced at Liam and Beck, a knowing glint in his eyes.

"And live the rest of our lives," Beck finished, looking over at Liam. "What more could there be?"

"That just all seems so..." Liam trailed off, staring out into the distance as they finally arrived at their cars. "Normal," he finally sighed as he looked at Beck and Mase.

"Liam," Beck sighed as she grabbed Liam's other hand. "Our lives are never gonna be normal. Not when we're part of the supernatural. Something's always gonna happen. It's just the way it is now."

"But how do you know?" Liam asked with an unsure look on his face.

This time Beck didn't get the chance to suppress her laughter. Shaking her head, the small blonde looked up at her boyfriend before kissing him quickly. "Because," she said after pulling away. "It's Beacon Hills. This place was never normal."
