Chapter 7: First Kiss

'Oh FSM, I can't do this.' Lloyd said pacing back and forth. 

'Calm down, Lloyd.' Kai said.

'How?! How am k supposed to calm down? What if she doesn't like me? Maybe u should cancel.' Lloyd rambled. 

Kai shook his head. Then he got an idea. 

'COLE!' He called. The earth ninja was soon leaning on the doorway. 

'I need you to do one of your calming down things.' Kai said. 'Greenie isn't doing well with this first date thing.'

'Sure.' Cole said. He walked over to Lloyd and held his shoulders tight. 

'Ok Lloyd, take deep breaths with me. Inhale... exhale.' Cole said. Lloyd followed the instructions and relaxed. 

'Thanks that really helped.' Lloyd said. 

'Anytime. Oh and a little dating advice. Always be yourself. Girls like that. It's how I got Eleanor.' Cole said smiling. Eleanor was Cole's girlfriend. She owned a bakery and was super beautiful and strong. 

'Okay. I'll keep that in mind.' Lloyd said.

 He was starting to show the childish part of him again. He only did that when he was sad, worried, or when he just wanted someone to get him something. 

Meanwhile with Chloe...

'Okay shoes, check dress, check, jewellery, check. I think I have everything.' Chloe said to herself. 

'Hey sis.' Cole said from the door way. 

'Oh, hey Cole.' Chloe said lifting her head up so her brother could see her. 

'You look good today. So, getting ready for your date?' Cole said in a teasing voice. He had just arrived from the Lloyd's room. 

Chloe blushed. 'Yes?' 'But I still don't know if I can do this. What if he doesn't like me? What if he cancels?' Chloe said. 

Great. 

Now she was showing her childish side. 

'Yup, same thing here Kai!' Cole called out to Kai who was spying on them. 

'Huh? Same thing?' Chloe asked. 

'Yeah. Lloyd's having a case of first date syndrome too.' Cole said. 

'First date syndrome? What's that? Wait- no don't answer. I do nor want to know.' Chloe helped her hand to stop her brother for on continuing his sentence. 

Cole chuckled at the sight of Chloe pacing around her room. 

'Chloe Charbonneau Stone, you are the most amazing girl ever.' Cole said hugging his sister. 

'What makes you say that?' Chloe asked from inside the hug. 

'Well, you're beautiful, smart, talented, French, and Lloyd's best friend.' Cole explained crossing the points off with his fingers. 

'How does being French help with this?' Chloe asked. 

'French girls are among the most beautiful females in the world.' Cole stated. 

Chloe raised an eyebrow. 

'Never mind that. So, what're you wearing?' Cole asked. 

'This.' She held up a yellow tank top with dark blue skinny jeans. 

'Nice. Well, show me when you're ready 'kay?' Cole said. 

'Sure.' He walked out the room and closed the door behind him.
