Ninjago: The Yellow Ninja

The Reception

My reception out was completely different than anything else you could've thought of. Since I have a surprise for Lloyd, I need to wear something I can move in so, I'm wearing a yellow jumpsuit. That's fancy of course. 

Me and Lloyd walked into the ball room together and everyone cheered. According to my dad the newlyweds will have to start the slow dancing first and then the food. 

Lloyd and I headed to the middle of the dance floor and started to dance. After that was the amazing food. Zane was the chef and the food was better than ever. Lloyd and I decided to walk around the table separated. He went to all his friends and me to mine. 

After the dinner hour was the wedding toast done by Cole and Nya. 

'To the newlywed couple, Lloyd and Chloe Garmadon!' Nya said. After the wedding toast. Music began to play again and Lloyd and I danced again. Then we transitioned away from each other and I when to my dad while Lloyd went to his mother. 

Lloyd began the mother- son dance and Misako was smiling and laughing. Then I dragged my dad onto the dance floor as we began the father- daughter dance. My dad and I were dancing happily together and I laughed as he spun me around. 

We paused the dancing for a few minutes as I ran to inform Darreth about the secret surprise me and Cole had made. He nodded and I dragged Lloyd to his chair and pulled Cole over for the surprise. 

This is the dance Chloe and Cole are doing, 

Darreth cued the music and we began dancing. When I turned I saw Lloyd's mouth wide open. I smiled to myself. The crowd was cheering us on and once we finished dancing I gave Cole a hug hug and he swayed me back and forth. We did our secret handshake and he headed back to the others. I'm surprised I did it high heels. 

'We should do that at your wedding Nya!' Kai said. Jay and Nya blushed. 

Me and Lloyd spent the rest of the day with our family and I mean the ninja too. They're family now. Real family since Cole's my brother Lloyd's now his brother- in- law. Which also means I'm now related to Master Wu. 

Now it was time for the speeches. It was Cole's turn first and then Olive's  

He got up onto the stage and said, 

'Okay, um this is my first time making a speech so I'm kinda nervous.' The crowd laughed. 

He took a deep breath. 

'Hey, everyone! For the people here who don't know me and I find that hard to believe,' people laughed at that. 

'I'm Cole, the brother of our very beautiful bride. As an older brother, I always looked after Chloe, and protected her. Well, she did most of the protecting when she and Lloyd saved Ninjago. I confess to every person here– I did not even notice how she grew up and became such a beautiful young woman. And here we are today at her wedding. Wow!' 

He chuckled to himself and I smiled.  

'By the way, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who was able to join us on this special day today, it is very valuable. When we were kids, she was really sad that I played with my friends more than with her, that I didn't draw dresses with her, and I didn't want to play with dolls with her, and so on. I promise if you have a daughter – I will make up for it all and be just the best uncle!' Lloyd blushed and I laughed. 

'You're not gonna be as amazing as me!' Kai retorted. Everyone laughed at him and Skyler slapped him on the head and he earned a glare from Nya. I feel bad for him. He is related to two badass women.
