Ninjago: The Yellow Ninja

The Wedding

It was finally the big day. I was getting married!!! 

My mom was helping me get dressed and I honestly looked amazing. The girls did too. They looked amazing in the chiffon yellow bridesmaid dresses. Nya, Skyler, Eleanor, and Olive were my bridesmaids. Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane were Lloyd's best men.

My dress was equally amazing. I looked even more beautiful than ever. And that's saying something. 

'Time to get ready for the entrance.' PIXAL said coming into the room. I took a deep breath. 

'You can do this.' Mom said holding my shoulder and walking to her seat with my dad. Jay, Cole and Kai  came into the room to enter with their partners and to see me. 

Cole's mouth dropped open at the sight of me and so did everyone else's. 

'You look amazing!' He said coming to hug me. I hugged him tight and hugged the other boys too.  

'The order is Cole and Eleanor, Kai and Skyler, Nya and Jay. Olive will come right in front of Chloe. And you look beautiful Chloe.' Zane said coming in. 

As the others left dad came in and put his hand out for me. I smiled and kissed him. 

'I love you.' He said. 

'Love you too.' 

The music began to play and we entered. I chuckled when I saw Lloyd's face. He was so shocked. And if I'm honest he looked pretty handsome. More than usual. The guys were all standing staring at me shocked and I could see Cole tearing up and smiling. 

I handed my bouquet to Nya and turned around to hold Lloyd's hands. 

He smiled at  me and said, 'You look amazing.' I smiled. 'You're not so bad yourself.' He chuckled. 

Sensei Wu was the officiant and he was smiling at the both of us. 

'We have gathered here to celebrate the wedding of my beloved nephew, Lloyd Garmadon and his beautiful girlfriend Chloe Stone. It is a privilege to untie them as one and you two better stay like that.' He joked. 

The whole audience laughed.  

'The first time Lloyd and Chloe met was at Jamanakai Village around a year ago. Chloe was sprawled on top of her older brother Cole after being sent flying by a portal that just closed,'

 I laughed at the memory. 

'and she moved in with us that very same day. It took them three days to realise they had feelings for each other and that was the day they became best friends and Chloe became the Yellow Ninja. Lloyd finally plucked up the courage to ask her out on the Island of Darkness and they were the perfect couple of I do say so myself.' 

'Me and Nya are better.' Jay muttered. 

'That's as when the real adventure started. The hunt to find the onl way to defeat evil began and that was something that tested their relationship. Once we managed to do so and the war had begun, Lloyd decided that was the time to propose. Very poor timing.' Lloyd flushed. I laughed. 

'Now here they are together preparing for what is to come next.'

'Now, if anyone has an objection to this union please do speak now or forever remain quiet.' Wu said. Everyone remained silent. 

'Good. Now, Jay is here to do his job as reader.'  

Jay came forward and help a microphone to his mouth and looked at me then Lloyd and finally at his book.

'I have known Lloyd and Chloe for pretty much their whole lives and it is an honour to be the reader at their wedding..' He said tearing up slightly. 

I felt some tears form in my eyes and quickly brushed them always so as not to spoil my makeup.

Jay took a deep breath and said,

 The symbolic vows that you are about to make are a way of saying to one another, "You know all those things we've promised and hoped and dreamed—well, I meant it all, every word." Look at one another and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another—acquaintance, friend, companion, lover, dancing partner, and even teacher, for you have learned much from one another in these last few years. Now you shall say a few words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between you. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this—is my husband, this—is my wife.' 

Then he closed his books walked over to me and gave me huge hug. Then went and hugged Lloyd. 

He let go and headed back to his spot next to Kai. Kai patted his back and smiled at me. 

'Now it is time for the vows, Lloyd goes first.' Wu said. Lloyd let gl of my hands and pulled out his vow book and took the microphone from Wu.

'Angel, you are probably the best thing that has ever happened to me for more reasons than I can count. You are kind, beautiful, brave, and simply amazing,' the crowd 'Awed'

'I vow to always be by your side and be with you through everything and nothing will ever to make me stop thinking about you or keep me away from you. I love you.'  He said and closed his book. 

'Chloe.' 

I took my vow book and the mic. 

'Lloyd, you have been there with me through everything and you have been my strong pillar. You gave me your shoulder to cry on and your warmth when I was cold,' the crowd awed again. 

'you are everything to me and I promise that I'll be with you through all highs and lows. Nothing will make me forget about you. I love you.' I close my book and gave the microphone to Master Wu.  

'Now it is time for the rings.' 

Lil' Nelson came forward and held the rings on a cushion. Lloyd and I took our rings. 

Lloyd took my hand and smiled at me, and said, 'I love you.' Again. He kissed my hand and let go. 

Then I took his hand and place the ring on his finger. 'Love you too.' 

'Lloyd Garmadon, and Chloe Stone I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride, nephew.' Wu said. 

Lloyd took my hand and pulled me close to him and softly placed his lips onto mine. We could hear cheers from the crowd and separated. 

'Ladies and gentlemen may I present to you, Mr and Mrs. Garmadon!' Wu said. 

I laughed and placed my head on Lloyd's chest. He hugged me close to him. He took my hand and we walked out of the hall together cheers following behind us. 

I was now married to the love of my life.
