The Gem of Earth

We've been brainstorming the best places where the Gem of Earth might be hiding, but we still got nothing! NOTHING!!!!!

'What about the theatre?'I suggested. 'Dad used to take us there whenever we visited.' 

'You know I hated it.' Cole grumbled. It's true. He did hate it. 

The others heads were darting around whenever either of us spoke. 

'Mourre Négre?' I asked again. Cole thought for a second. His thinking face contorted into his happy face. 

'That could actually work!' He exclaimed. I smiled widely. Our parents used to take us there whenever we visited France. 

'So sorry to interrupt but, WHAT THE HELL IS MOUSSE... WHATEVER?!' Jay yelled. Cole didn't seem affected but I was. 

'Mourre Négre is one of the mountains here in France. Dad used to take me and Chloe there all the time!' Cole explained. 

'Oh. So, where is it?' Kai asked. 

'Nearby. About a one hour drive from here. And then a climb until we find the place where the Gem is.' I said. 

Lloyd looked at the clock then at me. It was clear he was using our telepathy. 

'If we wanna get there on time when we still have light we gotta go now.'  He said I nodded. 

'Let's go guys. It's already three pm.' I said. Everyone sans Lloyd nodded and we all went to our respective vehicles. 

'Remember, stay together and never leave your partner.' I said. Since we were going to different countries, me and Lloyd decided to assign everyone partners.

TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY LLOYD'S ADORABLENESS

We were now climbing up the mountain and, boy was it a climb! Finally we got to the place where Cole said he felt something. We followed his lead and he took us to a... cave. 

Yay. 

Every Gem is hidden deep inside a cave either in a mountain, cliff or hill. 

We went in and as expected we encountered bats, frogs, snakes, owls, and a lot more creepy creatures. 

Then, we saw the light. A pale brown one. Cole ran forward and we followed him. 

'Woah.' He said. 

The Gem was in the centre of the room just like Jay's and Cole had to introduce himself as the Master of Earth. But, something happened that probably wasn't supposed to. 

The deep voice said, 'Don't go looking for the Gems of Light and Energy. They are meant to be found last. Instead, go find the Gems of Water and Fire hidden in the forests of Japan.' 

Then there was silence. 

'You heard the man. Off to Japan!' Jay said.We left the cave climb back down to our vehicles and drove past Marty Oppenheimer. I stopped my Light Cycle looking to the building. So many memories...  I saw a poster on the wall. 

Huh.

Pictures of trophies with a yellow and green gem on them were there. And for some reason I feel attracted to the Yellow Gem. 

'Angel!' Lloyd called out. He was already on the Bounty and the others were climbing up. I drove up to them and we all had dinner and went to bed.
