Ninjago: The Yellow Ninja

Chapter 4: The Journey to the Temple of Light

Today, Chloe was finally gonna go shopping with Nya for clothes! She's been surviving on the ones Nya gave her for the past month. Right now, they were in the Mall roaming around with so many bags. Funny thing was, Kai and Cole were dragged along with them and they were carrying all the bags. 

'Where to now?' Chloe asked.

'Coffee?' 

'Coffee.' 

They headed to a cafe and bought 4 cappuccinos each. Cole and Kai were so tried they were massaging their legs. The girls were nowhere near.

'How are you two not tired?' Cole asked falling into a nearby chair. 

'Yeah, this is way too much.' Kai said sitting next to Cole 

'It's in our veins you dungbombs.' Chloe said. Nya nodded. 

'Every single girl in Ninjago can go on 24 hour shopping spree and not stop for a rest.' She said. 

'And I thought Master Wu was horrid.' 

Chloe was rummaging through her bags now and after a few minutes her wuss popped up from one of them. 

'I think we have everything.' She said. 

'Really?' Kai and Cole asked hopefully. 

'Let me see.' Nya said. Now she was rummaging through the bags. 

'Yup, we have everything.' She said. 

'Well, let's head back to the Monastery then!' Cole and Kai got up and ran with the bags in their hands. Nya and Chloe looked at each other and laughed. 

Soon, each of them were all in their respective vehicles. 

Chloe in the Light Cycle which was a yellow motorbike like Lloyd's but smaller and yellow. 

Nya in the Ocean Raider which was a speed car like Kai's.

Cole in the Rock Cycle.

And Kai was in the Flame Car which was the exact same as Nya's but fire themed.

'Race y'a!' Kai called. He hit the gas and drove away from them. 

'Oh it's on!' Nya called. 

Now they were all racing towards the monastery and Chloe won. 

'How?! I started first!' Kai yelled. 

'The Light Cycle is very light thus makes it easier to handle and it can fit through small places.' Chloe said. 

Kai folded his hands on his chest and huffed. Chloe shook her head and went to find Lloyd. He was in the Basement with the Master Wu, Zane and PIXAL. 

'Hey Sunny!' He said walking towards me. 

'Hey greenie.' She said laughing. The others had created the nickname 'sunny' for her because of her element. And Chloe gave Lloyd the nickname 'greenie'. Mainly because it sounded like a vegetable and he hated vegetables. 

'Still makes me sound like a vegetable.' Lloyd said. 

'And that's why I gave you the name.' Chloe said patting his back.

'And plus, all vegetables are green.' 

'Not all.' Lloyd muttered. 

Chloe chuckled. 

'So, what'd I miss?' She asked. 

'Not much. Master Wu thinks that we should go to the Temple of Light for you to reach your full potential and for me to get a power boost.' Lloyd said.
