The Winchesters get back to the bunker and walk down the stairs.

"Guys?" Dean calls.

"Hey. How's it goin' in here?" Sam asks Lucifer and Chuck.

"Listen, I know I've been gone for a while." Chuck says as the brothers put their bags on the map table. Carly and Wyatt leave, though Serena stayed glued to Sam's back. "I've missed a few... million birthdays--"

"Yeah, and the second your apes send a distress flare, boom. Daddy's home." Lucifer remarks.

"That's not what happened." Chuck says.

"Hey! These apes saved your ass." Dean says making Lucifer scowl. He snaps his fingers, the three adults flinching. Sam's grip on Serena's legs tighten and he shuffles in front of Miranda as an attempt of protection.

"He can't hurt you." Chuck says.

"Oh, so you're controlling me now?!" Lucifer exclaims.

"It's just a safeguard." Chuck says.

"Hey guys? Uh, Chuck? Lucifer... uh, Dean... think we can try and focus here? You know, end of the world, common enemy, all that?" Sam reminds.

Lucifer slams the book in his hands shut making Serena flinch at the noise.

"Enemy of my enemy is my friend. Team Amara. Go Amara." Lucifer says, standing up.

"You don't mean that." Chuck says.

"You're really not gonna say it?" Lucifer questions, the two staring at each other.

"He's not gonna say what?" Sam asks.

"Fuck you." Lucifer tells Chuck. "Fuck all of you." He tells the Winchesters before storming out.

"Kids, huh?" Chuck asks, walking out.

The three Winchesters stand in the hallway outside the bedroom and are listening to Lucifer playing the rock music.

"Lucifer!" Sam yells, banging on the door. "You know, sometime you're gonna have to come out and talk to... God."

Lucifer doesn't respond.

"It's like the worst episode of Full House ever." Dean says. The music stops.

"If dad has something to say to me, I'll hear it from him! Until then, I'll be in my room." Lucifer says.

"It--" Sam starts.

"It's not your room." Dean says.

"It's our room." Sam and Miranda chorus as the music resumes. Sam bangs on the door.

"Whatever." Dean walks off, the other two following.

"We're getting a new room. I don't trust anything that dude does in there." Miranda says.

"Talk to him." Sam tells Chuck.

"Won't do any good." Chuck says.

"Why not?" Sam asks.

"Because I can't give him what he wants." Chuck says.

"And what's that?" Dean asks.

"What everyone wants. My sister, my children, you humans -- an apology. A big, wet "I'm sorry."" Chuck says.

"Well, so give it to him. It's not like he's asking for a weapon or for Hell or for Heaven. He's askin' for words." Dean says.

"I can't say I'm sorry if I'm not." Chuck says, putting pancakes in front of the three. "What he wants an apology for, I did it for humanity. For the world. Look, Lucifer wants what everybody wants -- Amara gone. 'Kay? Let's just give him a little time to cool off."
