I wake up and feel with my hands in my bed. I open my eyes and realise that Nia isn't there. I look around in the room very confused. I put on a shirt and shorts and get out of my room. I suddenly hear her cute giggle from the kitchen. I get there and see her sitting with my mom in the kitchen. She has a cup between her hands and it looks like they enjoy talking to each other. I smile and sit down next to Nia and kiss her on the cheek.
-Good morning, she says.
-Good morning. Why didn't u wake me up when u woke up?, I ask.
-I thought I could sneak out but your mom stopped me, she laughs and get my hair away from my tired face.
-I knew you would find a nice girlfriends honey, mom says.
-Oh I don't know if we're.. u know.. or idk, I say trying to figure out how to easily explain.
-Not very smart. Look at her! She's gorgeous! And very nice, mom says and smile at Nia.
Nia laughs.
-When have someone ever said that Chris is smart, she says with a laugh.
Mom laughs and nods like she agree. Nia drinks what's in the cup and then stand up and goes to put it in the washing machine.
-U don't have to do that darling, mom says.
-It's fine. Really, she says and smile.
-You have to get ready for school now. There's a small bag in the wardrobe with my old clothes. Hope u can find something there, mom says to Nia.
She nods and smile. We get up to the wardrobe and she search after something to wear.
-Can you find something?, I ask.
-Yes these clothes are so cute, she says.
She finds a pair of jeans and a dark blue top. We go to my room and she changes. I just sit in my bed staring at her. You would have too! She's so perfect and it's not possible to think about something else when seeing her. Im so in love with her. Mom sticks her head in.
-Hey u can use some of my make up if u want to, she says and hand Nia a small bag.
-Thank u so much, Nia says.
-No prob. Im going to work. Have a good day in school both of u, she says.
-Bye mom, I say.
Nia does a little make up before brushing her hair. Then we have to get out to the bus. When we're waiting for the bus she looks at me. I look back at her and she smiles. I kiss her lips and she kiss back. I'm that exact second the bus is here. We get in and she sit down next to her friends Bella and I sit down next to Nathan. He's laughing.
-What?, I say.
-I saw u kiss her! And she were at your house!, he laughs.
-Mhm, I answer.
-I knew it, he says.
-It's not a biggy, I say.
-Yea it is! Nia and u. No one thought, he says.
He keeps on tease me about it the whole way to school. I get so tired of him after a while. Even though I part of me is so proud of myself and really wants to hear him. When we're at school we get of the bus and meet up the others. Nathan runs to them.
-Chris got with her!, he says.
-No wayyy, everyone says.
-Was she good?; Val ask.
-Stop, I say.
-I don't trust u, Elia says.
-Yeah go to her and show us! Simon says, Simon says.
God they're really annoying sometimes. I go to her and she goes to me.
-What?, she asks.
-Nothing, I say.
-Uhh okay, she laughs.
-You are really pretty, I say.
-Thank u, she says and touch my arm down to my hand.
The bell rings and she looks at her friends.
-I have to go. See ya, she says and kiss me before walking away.
I go back to my friends. They're all standing in clear shook.
-Wtf have u done with her, Val says.
-She have completely changed, Simon says.
(Nia)
Fuck this is a really long day. I'm already tired and I'm only half through. I sigh as I take the books I need for the next lesson. That's the only lesson where I don't have any friends with me. I'm completely alone that lesson. But it's fine. I walk to the lesson and see one of Chris friends. But not Chris.
-Ohh here comes the lover, one of them says.
-What do u mean?, i ask.
-You we're so heartless and hated everyone and now u love Chris so muchhhh. I thought u once said u didn't trust love. This is so not your reputation, he says and laughs.
-My reputation is so right and no one should think something else! Boys are stupid and I do hate all of you!, I say.
-Well this may shook u but Chris is one, he says.
-She knows she have had him inside of her, another one laughs.
I try to breath deep and stay calm.
-Chris is nothing to me. It was a one time thing. There's no love, I say.
-Then couldn't we have a one time thing sweetie, he says and starts touching my hair.
-You ugly stupid pig, I say and push him away and walks away from them.
Why would I do this. Why didn't I just keep it like it was. Everything is Chris's fault. If he didn't exist like that I would have broken the fact that I don't fall in love. I don't love. Everyone knows that. The whole school. Clearly. Why do he have to be so cute and so Chris. Why do I have to like him so bad. I just wish I could turn the time back to before i knew him. But at the same time I would want to change this at all.
Because he is the best thing ever.
