Colors melted into sounds, those sounds blended into pained screams and desperate wails the raced past my ears like mosquitos. I felt sick to my stomach, and I didn't open my eyes out of instinct. I wanted to beg for everything to stop, I could feel cold air blow past me as fast as the disoriented sounds and lights.

and then, everything stopped.

I could feel solid ground under my hands, and I tried to breath deeply as I concentrated on the feeling under my fingertips. My eyes snapped open, and then shut as bright colors pierced my eyes everywhere I looked. I clasped my hands over the sides of my head, cherry, disorienting circus music invading my head and making me woozy.

I heard panicked breathing beside me. "W-w-wait? Huh? W-where am I..." A meek, startled voice queried. I opened my eyes again, trying to find my bearings. I stood myself up and turned, shocked to see a jester-looking figure with a red, blue, and yellow pallet beside me, her head frantically whirling as she tried to steady herself. Her eyes landed on me and she yelped, stumbling backwards into a tall rabbit-looking creature that I hadn't taken sight of yet.

The rabbit dramatically fell, knocking into other characters that were standing beside him. The circus music slowed to a halt as they all came crashing down, and I sucked in a breath. The jester backed up next to me as the characters groaned in pain and stood again.

Their glaring eyes focused on the two of us. And now aside from being confused and scared, I now felt very, very small. 

"Caine, are these some of your new NPCs or are these some new suckers?" The rabbit exasperatedly sighed, motioning to us as he looked up at a small man who was floating above us all. I nearly fainted when i saw - instead of a normal head - two floating eyeballs inside of a gaping, teeth-filled mouth.

The rabbit chuckled and rubbed his tear ducks. "-because if these are new characters- we're gonna have to redo this whole theme song." 

The mouth-man turned to me and and jester-lady, and he dramatically gasped and clutched his chest. "My, my! It appears a new human had entered the realm- two humans! Hm! That's never happened...before..." he mumbled, almost to himself as he tapped the side of his head for a moment in thought.

The jester began desperately clawing at her face, drawing your attention back to her. "How do I...take this...headset off?!?" She struggled in a strained voice as her skin stretched in her gloved hands.

"Juuussst keep grabbin' at it, it worked for all of us." The rabbit chuckled to himself, one hand on his hip.

This prompted me to looked down at my own hands. My breath caught in throat. My hands...they were...different. I touched your face with them, my face felt different. I looked down at my body, my breath shaking. Everything was different.
