It's the next day.
Michelle is sitting in
the library after classes trying to figure
out which books she needs and how the
whole system works.
Mattheo sees her sitting alone and approaches. His friends are sitting nearby, watching with a smirk. He looks at her, trying to act cool when it's obvious that he's nervous
"Hi, Michelle.." he says with a confident tone
"You are sitting all alone?" he asks as he folds his arms and raises his eyebrow.
Michelle looks at him. "Yes, I try to learn for the classes. I have a deficit since I joined
Hogwarts in the middle of the year."
"I get that," he says as he sits next to her, taking a book and looking at the covers while still looking at her.
He opens the book and reads the description
without lifting his eyes from the page
"Do you want some company?" He smiles
seductively at her for a moment, thinking
maybe this is the perfect time to flirt a
little more.
"Honestly, not really." she tries to concentrate on her books. She smirks a bit.
Mattheo closes the book immediately and looks at her. "What? Come on... i won't disturb you. I know when to shut up, " he says with a charming smile, even tho his friends are laughing and making fun of him as he talks
"I only want to be with you right now. NO
one else will bother us, I promise, " he says
with an arrogant and flirty tone
"I doubt that, but okay. Sit down." She tries not to look at him. He doesn't have to say anything to distract her.
He gets closer as he sits down next to her. He tries to ignore his friends' giggles from the distance.
"What are you reading?" he asks while looking at the book in her hands.
"Something about Potions. I think
Professor Snape is really strict."
She notices Mattheos Friends giggle.
Mattheos eyes wander on her face, and he smiles. He puts his arm around her back as he leans on her. The whole library is now noticing his gesture, but he doesn't care at all
"Yeah, i heard he can be a bit... mean. But
it's good that we have him for our potions
class." he says in such a nice and soft tone
that he doesn't even recognize his own voice
Michelle can feel his touch on her back and sees his friends laugh. She closes her book and looks at him serious "Okay Mattheo? What is this all about? You are sitting here with me and your friends laugh at us?" She looks a bit mad now.

He looks at her face straight in the eyes. His expression turns serious as he stares at her
"I was trying to talk to you... get to know
you.. I don't know, maybe flirt a little?
Isn't that what normal boys do?"he says in a
sarcastic tone.
"Listen, I understand this. You already had all of the girls at your class, and I am the new girl and a nice challenge. But look at me. I am not a silly game, and it's definitely no challenge to laugh about!" She tries to stand her opinion. She feels like he's playing with her. She steps a bit back from him, waiting for him to answer.

He looks confused as she steps back and raises his eyebrow once more.
"No.. it's not like that. Do you think i see every girl I met as a challenge?" he says with a hint
of irritation in his voice
"You are not one of my "games. " I simply
like you." He looks at her, and he looks sincere this time."I enjoy being with you. And this laugh, the blushing you keep trying to hide..i like it." he moves a bit closer to her
"Yeah, and I bet you are meeting a lot of
girls." she sounds annoyed. Mattheo realises
that she thinks he's a player.
He looks frustrated. "You don't believe me when i say i like you? And now you think i'm a player?" his eyes narrow a bit.
"Why would you think that? Just because
i speak to you?" he sounds more irritated
then before. Blaise and Theo are now giggling loudly. Pansy looks at me with a teasing look.

"Yeah, look at your friends. Thinking
it's funny how you sit by my side." She rolls
her eyes. "I don't have the time for this,
Mattheo." she stands up and leaves the library. He looks after her, a bit disappointed. His face turns red as he realizes that he had messed up the whole situation. His friends still giggle as they mock him about how he screwed the whole thing up. He puts his head in his hands and sighs.
Blaise: "damn it, Mattheo!"
He stands up and walks out of the library, too.
