Michelle was skipping the classes the days after the party. She wasn't feeling that good and she had to think about a lot of things. Now, a few days after the party, she is sitting at the black Lake. It's a warm summer day, and she has her feet in the water and a book in her hand.
It has taken some time for Mattheo to find her. He walks slowly towards her as he sees her sitting by the black lake. He walks towards her quietly without getting her attention,he wants to see what she is doing. He notices the book in her hand and her legs in the water. All he is left to imagine is how
it to hold her body in his arms while they
dance. He sees her smiling, and that makes
him smile, too.
He gets close to her and looks at the book in
her hand. "What are you reading?"
She winces. "Oh Mattheo, I didn't expect you
here. I am reading.. uhm Honestly, it
doesn't matter." She puts the book aside
"Is there a reason why I shouldn't be here?"
He sits down next to her and gets his feet in the water, too. "Oh, come on.. now you have to tell me. Or I will annoy you." he says with a smile.
She smiles. They sit very close, so their shoulders are slightly touching. "It's a love story, honestly. Sometimes, I like to escape from reality
and read someone else's story. "
Michelle sees him leaning against her. She notices how close they are. The water is cool, and it feels good on their feet. It is a warm wind and they have a nice view of the lake, the black lake.
"And what's the book about? Is there
some kind of drama, or does it have a
happy ending?" He says in a flirty tone with a smile on his face.
"I have not finished it yet. For now, they
are still friends."
The sun begins to set. Michelle lays her head on her knees and looks over to Mattheo, and smiles. She enjoys the last rays of the sun in her face and closes her eyes.
Mattheo lays his head on his knees, too, next to her, looking over the calm black waters
of the lake. It is a beautiful view, and the
sun is falling.
POV Mattheo:
You can't see my smiling face, but I can feel how happy the moment is making me. I close my eyes a bit too, trying to focus on my breathing and the warm sun rays on my face. I like to look at her. She is so beautiful. I feel myself being more comfortable around you.
"I am having a hard time lately. So I try to
enjoy the little things." Michelle says while smiling and watching the Sunset
"You mean because of the party? Or
something else?" He looks at her smiling
face and move closer to her without moving his legs, so they are now touching. He also looks at the sunset. He loves the warm rays of the sun in his face, too.
He smiles. This i very calming for both of them. Mattheos gaze keeps on her.
"No, not because of the party. At least
not only. I have a few family problems
Nothing I wanna talk about. But maybe
someday." She smiles while watching the
sunset "Aren't sunsets beautiful"
"Well, whenever you feel ready..." The
warm feeling he is having while seeing
the sunset with her feels so relaxing and
comforting in a weird way, he really enjoys
being here together with her
"Oh! Yeah, the sunset is beautiful." He smiles
as he looks back at her. "lt's even more
beautiful if you are here... I bet everything
is more beautiful if you are here.." he smirks
at her.
