Three days later. Michelle has not spoken to Mattheo, but she did a bit of research. She searches now for Mattheo in the common room. He sits thoughtful in the corner. "Mattheo. My love, " she says while hugging him. He hugs her back in silence. It feels as if time has stopped.
POV Mattheo:
I was afraid to lose you. I am
hoping so desperately that you are willing
to believe me and give me a chance to
make things up for you.
He is whispering slowly not to make anyone listen to their conversation. "Are you really here to give me back a chance?" His voice sounds desperate and vulnerable.
"Mattheo, what do you mean? I was
upset, but I'm always by your side." she kisses him. He kisses her back with love and relief. "Oh my god. I thought that you were going to break up with me." He smiles at her, his face filled with relief.
"You scared me. You don't know how
much i was praying that you won't leave
me. I am just..." his face is filled with love
as he holds her face gently. "I can't describe
what you mean to me. I am sorry for
hiding these things about me. I will
never do this again. You deserve to know
everything." He smiles at her lovingly.
"No, no, I was never going to break up with
you." she says, surprised. "I was just busy. I did a bit of research, honestly."
She smiles back, and she is filled with so much love for him.
"Oh really? So what did you find out?" His
voice is filled with curiosity.
He looks at her and is filled with joy and
peace. He is finally not worried anymore that his secret will drive a wedge between them.
"I read a few things about Horcruxe. It
was hard to get the books, but I was
able to find out some things. Usually
horcruxes are made from objects. It's not common to do it with people. Your
nightmares, that's the connection to your
father. I'm afraid the only way to destroy
the horcrux is for you to die.and that's not going to happen..so dead end I'm
afraid." Mattheo is filled with worry and fear after he hears this.
"So.. if i die, the horcrux will die as well?" he
is not looking at her at the moment because he tries to hide my emotions.
"Yeah, but..this is not an option, obviously.."
POV Michelle:
I am so worried about him. I can tell that he is worried, too. His nightmares and the connection make up his mind. I hope he trusts me and he is not too scared.
He shakes his head frantically. "You didn't mention it, but...can I be
manipulated by him? Even if i don't want
to. Can he control me? Can he change
who i am and use my body to do horrible
stuff?" His voice sounds scared now.
"I don't know, honestly... i hope not." she says with a concerning look on her face.
She hugs him and says, "We will get through this together, okay?"
He hugs her back and puts his face in her
shoulder. "I hope so too." He sighs and smiles in hope to distract both himself and her. "Are you not afraid of me?" He looks into her eyes in the hope she tells him the truth."Are you not scared that i will hurt you?" His voice sounds worried.
"Why should I be scared of you? You are
still my Mattheo. " she kisses him, and his face is flushed. He feels warm inside. He kisses her back, and after a few seconds of kissing her lips, he says with a sweet voice, "I love you..." he keeps hugging her, and he closes his eyes thinking of all the good
memories they have together, hoping that
their relationship will last.
Michelle stares at him. "What..what did you just say?" He looks at her right in the eye and says his heart out."I love you!" His voice sounds strong as if he needed to say it now more than anytime. "It's the truth, and I can't pretend that i don't feel this way about you." The love for her in his eyes is obvious.
She smiles and kisses him. "I love you too, Mattheo!"
POV Michelle: I feel so much love for you. I close my eyes and we stay like this for a few minutes. When I open my eyes again, I feel like I found the most perfect person in the world.
His face sounds sincere and honest. "I never thought that I would meet someone like you. It feels like i found
exactly what i was looking for." He smiles
warmly and puts his head close to her, and he whispers, "You are more than i could ever ask for." His voice sounds filled with love.
