Chapter 34: Too late for class

After they finished, they lay in bed together. She decides to stay with Mattheo and trust him again. He looks at her, looking at her with tenderness now. They lay in bed holding hands tightly, and his eyes fill with love. "You are so amazing, Michelle." He caresses my hair slowly, and he smiles at her. "You are special," he says this while his voice is filled with emotions.
"I never knew i could love someone like this..." he looks at her, and his heart feels like it is about to explode in his chest.
"Thank you for everything, for your trust and for your love..." he kisses her hand gently. "You are too good to me, Mattheo. We will get through this, okay?" she says quiet.
"I hope you are right... for now, just please hold me close. I don't think i will ever let you go again." He holds her tight against his chest as he caresses her face gently.
"You are so incredible, you know?" He looks at her as he hugs her tightly, still caressing her face, her hair, and her chin.
She hugs him tight, and they fall asleep together. The first time since weeks, she trusts him enough to sleep in his bed again. And the night is quiet. No nightmares, no pain, just love.

They wake up the next day and realise they overslept, potion class startet 15min ago.
He wakes up with Michelle on top of me. He is a bit confused by this, but she looks too cute for him to resist her. He smiles at her as he caresses her hair gently. He looks at the clock, and his eyes fill with surprise as he jumps from the bed. "Michelle! Potions class started 15 minutes ago, and we are going to be in trouble!" He says this while trying to get out of bed, but Michelle clings hard to him, not wanting to let go of him.
"What?" she says andis awake instantly awake "fuck.. Snape will kill us.
But it was worth it" She laughs and takes her clothes on. Mattheo laughs with her.
"Well, at least i was worth breaking some rules." He says this as a tease.
"Alright, let's just go and face the consequences before Snape explodes." He smiles at her and Michelld stands up.
"Do you want your jacket? It is really cold today." He looks at her with sincerity and kindness. She takes the jacket and nods.
"Yes lets go."

They enter the potions class room together slowly. They try to sit down quiet but Snape already noticed them.
Mattheo sits next to Michelle and he is trying to act calm and collected while Snape looks at them from the corner of his eyes. He puts his hands in front of him and Mattheo tries to not look at him but his heart is beating so fast.
"I am so dead..." he whispers to Michelle.
"Me toos" he looks at him serious. Snape turns around and comes closer to them, he takes a breath and starts yelling at them.
Mattheo gets startled by Snape yelling at them and he cringes. He looks at Michelle, who is looking down at her table. He looks at Snape, hoping he will just let them off with a warning but it seems like it is not going to be the case.
"Please, sir! We are very sorry, but-"
Snape just starts yelling louder as Mattheo tries to defend them.
"Professor, We will do extra work. I promise. We are so sorry for beeing late." Michelle says.
Suddenly Snapes face softens and he nods.
Mattheo eyes fill with surprise and relief as Snapes face softens unexpectedly.
"Thank you, Professor." He looks at him with shock. Is this even possible? Does Snape allow them to escape the situation without a punishment?
He looks at Michelle who is still staring at her desk.
Professor Snape gives Mattheo a bad look and says: "Mr Riddle. You will be quiet for the rest of the class and Ms Black, you are going to do extra work after class."
Mattheo nods in agreement and whispers to Michelle" See, it is not that bad. Could have been worse." He looks at Snape again
"Alright, i ll keep quiet professor." Mattheo turns to look at his work table and starts doing his potions even though his heart is still beating fast and still looks at Michelle a lot to make sure everything is fine with her.
She tries to hide her smile. Mattheo can just not stop teasing Prof Snape. But he tries to behave for the rest of the class. As the Class is over she turns to Mattheo "Wanna meet at the lake at 6pm? I will do the extra work and then we have a good time together?"
He nods excitedly. He is glad she wants them to spend time together since he is also eager to spend time with her.
"Sure. I mean... if you don't mind. I would love to." He smiles at her and puts his hand on her hip seductively.
"See you in like four hours." He leans over and he kisses her cheek and he whispers to her "You know, you are really cute when you are nervous." And walks away to leave the potions classroom.
She giggles and then turns to Prof Snape
"So Professor, what is the extra work?"
Snape responds "you need to clean up the potions lab, Miss Black." and Snape knows that this is not going to be fun for Michelle but they are glad that they are not getting into trouble for their late arrival.
