Third Person POV :
Seokjin and Hoseok were enjoying their breakfast, trying their best not to agitate the already fuming Jungkook, who was teetering on the edge of unleashing his irritation on Jimin. The latter was blissfully munching on his food, oblivious to the facial expressions forming around him.
"Eat quietly unless you want me to kick you out," Jungkook snapped, finally losing his cool. Seokjin stifled a laugh, Jimin shot him a glare while Hoseok was side-glancing him as if had seen the weirdest thing beside him.
"What's wrong with you, Jeon Jungkook? Are you having mood swings? Let's go to a gynecologist," the shortest one teased, roasting his friend, bursting into laughter. His antics only got more ridiculous as he fell off his chair, as Seokjin came to his rescue.
"Says the one who is literally rolling around on the floor like a child!" Jungkook quickly fired back, silencing the other with a single comment.
"But seriously, what's going on with you? You two have always fought over the silliest things, but today you seem like you can't even stand us being around," Seokjin chimed in, genuine concern in his voice.
Jungkook stopped, his thoughts racing. Why was he so irritable over the tiniest things? Seokjin wanting something spicy, Hoseok commenting something about his plushies, even Jimin munching on his own food—all grating on his nerves.
"Nothing, really. I just didn't sleep well last night," Jungkook sighed, standing up and pushing his plate away. The food suddenly felt unappetizing.
"It's fine. I'll take Taehyung with me, then. He will be with me until we figure this out! You can stay free from your burden." Jimin said, sounding serious.
Jungkook's eyes widened at the thought. He didn't like that idea, not a tiniest bit. "Sure, you can do that—if he actually agrees to come with you. Spoiler alert: he won't." Jungkook declared confidently. "And, for the love of everything, make sure to not make him uncomfortable when you talk to him!"
"N-no, no! It's okay! I suggested it because you wouldn't want strangers in your house. Let him be if you are fine with it," Jimin quickly backtracked at the mention of talking to Taehyung.
"Yeah, but I don't think that's the case with Taehyung. You seem oddly comfy around him, taking good care of him, don't you?" Hoseok said, laughing playfully.
"Nope, quite the opposite! He's the one who finds comfort in me. So, yeah, he's staying here," Jungkook snapped back, too quickly to be calm.
"Come on! I saw you caring for him since day one. Never seen you treating someone that day." Hoseok teased further.
Before Jungkook could back himself, Seokjin joined in, "I second that. Never thought I'd see you share your clothes with anyone, not even Jimin! You never let anyone stay at your house let alone your room and even bed. But..."
"....Taehyung is an exception for all these." Hoseok completed for Seokjin.
"Yeah, well, he didn't exactly bring his own wardrobe with him, did he? What was I supposed to do—let him walk around in his birthday suit?"
Seokjin erupted into laughter like a maniac, while Hoseok argued, "You could always buy him something new."
"Seriously? He doesn't even leave the room, and you expect me to take him shopping?" Jungkook replied, casting a skeptical glance.
"Just buy something you like, then!"
"And what if he doesn't like it?" Jungkook asked. Not that Taehyung's currently living in his ideal wardrobe.
