Third Person POV :
Jungkook was restless. He didn't know what happened to Taehyung or why his behaviour changed drastically all of a sudden. It's as if the younger had turned a whole 180 and all the progress he had achieved was all gone back to square one.
He had been sighing every two minutes, vigorously tapping his feet on the floor continuously, running his hand through his hair once in a while and blinking hardly to contain his tears.
Seokjin looked at Hoseok and asked him, silently asking him 'what happened?' with his hands. The latter just shook his head and mouthed him a 'later'. Their little secret conversation was broken by the sudden voice that was mixed with both restlessness and worry.
"What happened? He was all cheerful and happy till then and crying suddenly. He isn't talking to me like he did for the last three days." At this point he couldn't stop his welled up tears in his eyes and let them slip out as he again went back to look down at the floor not wanting his hyungs to see them. But they had known him since forever that they could tell it just by his voice. "I really thought he is comfortable with me. Then why…What happened?"
Currently, they are in the office room of Jungkook, waiting for Yoongi and Jimin.
At first, more than anyone, Seokjin was the one who was completely against the idea of keeping Taehyung here without handing over the matter to the police. Of course, he would. He cares for his little brother more than some stranger. He didn't want Jungkook to be involved in some troubles.
Yet his heart didn't let him disapprove of Jungkook's decision. That's the reason he proposed asking his friend to investigate. He even let go of his insecurities and contacted Yoongi for the first time after years.
But when he finally met Taehyung on the day they all had dinner together, he instantly felt guilty for even his slightest unwillingness to welcome Taehyung in their lives. Such an adorable fluff ball, holding nothing but innocence in his eyes.
After that day, he had decided that he would do everything in his power to help Taehyung and be there for him just like he does for Jungkook. In fact, he wouldn’t even hesitate to whoop Jungkook's ass if ever hurt the boy.
You can't say it otherwise, Taehyung has it in him that makes anyone love him and protect him.
Seokjin could make sense of how both Hoseok and even Yoongi felt so attached and protective towards the boy. Same with Jungkook too. Still seeing Jungkook shedding tears was a bit surprising to him. Just because Taehyung was not talking to him.
"Well, Jungkook…I didn't want to bring it up now because we have more important things to talk about now.” Hoseok started gaining the attention of the other two.
Seeing the confused expression on both his friends' faces, he continued, "Didn't you notice how his smile disappeared when we were discussing about kissing?"
After that Taehyung just told him that he was sleepy and went to the bedroom. When Jungkook went in after sometime he noticed how the widely awake boy tried to pretend as if was sleeping.
No matter how many times he tried to initiate a conversation with the younger, the latter just nodded or gave him a one word answer. Even during lunch, he observed Taehyung speaking two or three words to Hoseok but didn't glance at him for once.
It hurt him, the brunette going all mute on him again after all his efforts. He couldn't understand what he did wrong that caused the younger's silence 'cause it was clear that the bitter treatment of the younger is exclusively directed at him from the way he was interacting with Hoseok.
