Third Person POV :
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! NOOOO!" Taehyung jolted at the panicked scream echoing from the living room, shattering the usual peaceful ambiance where he often hummed heartfully along to Jungkook's melodious voice.
He flinched, clutching his stuffed toy tighter—Jungkook's to be specific—and buried his head in his knees, heart racing.
"NOOO! GO AWAY!" came another frantic cry, sending a fresh wave of dread spiraling him. But when he realized that it was Jungkook's voice. Jungkook is the epitome of bravery, always helping him whenever he was scared. Now that he is screaming frantically, something truly terrifying must have happened.
What if a ghost had taken Jungkook away?
No, that couldn't be possible.
"WAAAUGHHHH! NOO! HELP!" Jungkook's voice pierced through the silence, and Taehyung's legs propelled him forward despite the fear coursing through him. He couldn't abandon his hyung and run away by himself; that would be unthinkable. Slowly, he nudged the bedroom door open and peeked out, but the living room was empty, only intensifying his unease.
He slowly walked toward the kitchen, where the terror was evidently rooted. As he crossed the threshold, moving his legs that were about to give up, his heart plummeted. There, perched atop the kitchen counter in an utterly dramatic squat, was Jungkook, eyes wide and filled with terror, staring intently at... nothing.
Jungkook was acting like he was facing a monster from his worst nightmares.
Now, Taehyung is one hundred and one percent sure that Jungkook is seeing a ghost. Because, according to him, ghosts select by whom they want to be seen.
"Hyung!" Taehyung whispered, trembling yet trying to be the bravest he could be for his hyung.
"TAE! NO! GO AWAY!" Jungkook screeched, sending a full-body shiver down Taehyung's spine. But instead of retreating, he took hesitant steps forward.
