39. Deal

Third Person POV :

"Seokjin...?" The reporter's voice faltered a bit seeing a new face.

"Yes, he is here. But what..." Jimin clapped his hand on his mouth when his brain identified the person. "Kim Namjoon??" He asked and Seokjin came running to the door at the mention of the name.

"Namjoon? What are you..."

"Umm...you left this in my car." Namjoon has a file in his hand. "Of Course.... I left it deliberately." Seokjin mumbled which Namjoon couldn't make it clearly but Jimin standing closer to Seokjin heard it clearly.

"Huh? Did you say something?"

"Nothing. I'm just saying that I need to review it by the end of the day. Glad you returned it." Seokjin took the file looking at the other's face, their hands brushing in the process purely accidentally. Namjoon retreated his hands as soon as their hands came in contact.

Jimin cleared his throat after coming out of the surprise because of his hyung's bold moves. It was a scene he never imagined in his wildest dreams. Seokjin who was always miles away from relationships after his first failed one.

Maybe your heart knows when the right person comes and you voluntarily break out from your shell. Jimin thought. ".... won't you invite him inside, hyung?" He smiled smugly.

"Yeah..... Namjoon, please come in."

"That's okay. I'll take my leave. Bye." Namjoon said but he stood in his place, not moving his feet an inch. "Mr.Kim, I'm a fan of yours. Won't you grant a wish to your fan if he wants to offer you a drink?" Jimin jumped in seeing how these two are being too cowards to make a next move. "....please come in."

Namjoon gave in as he didn't have any good excuse to protest anymore. They walked in and Jimin left the kitchen to bring a drink for the reporter. "....Chim...." A whiney voice dragged, gaining the attention of everyone.

"Oh, bear. What happened?" Seokjin asked and Taehyung looked at him happy to see him. He ran to him sitting between him and Namjoon. Seokjin opened his arms for Taehyung who snuggled closer to him like a little kid.

"Kookie hyung....he is angry. He doesn't talk to me." Taehyung sniffled looking at Seokjin. He had been doing this with Jimin every 30 minutes. But there was no use so he was hoping Seokjin could do something about it.

"Oh, is it? Why is he angry then?" Seokjin has his complete attention now on Taehyung. ".... don't know" The younger dropped his head low "....maybe....maybe he is tired of me." Tears already started to flow out of his eyes.

"Oh, my little bear. Don't cry. No one can get tired of you, baby. Aren't you the cutest boy? Wait...I'll whoop his ass for making you cry." Seokjin patted his back to assure him.

"No.... don't hurt Hyung." Seokjin cooed at the younger's cuteness and called Jungkook to give him an earful but the line went unanswered. Soon Jimin's phone vibrated with a ding. Jimin came back with a glass of milkshake and three apple juice.

He scoffed once he saw the message on his phone. "He is at his parents."  Jimin looked at Seokjin and then at Taehyung who straightened looking back at him, his eyes asking him to be more clear.

"He will stay there for a few days and asked me to take good care of Taehyung. Audacity to warn me..." His words were not completed when he heard Taehyung sobbing. Both Jimin and Seokjin tried to calm him completely ignoring Namjoon who was there sitting awkwardly. But Taehyung kept repeating that he wants to see Jungkook and that Jungkook hates him.

"I have a way to make him come back." Three of them snapped their heads in the direction of the voice. "But I have a condition..." Namjoon added. Now he had all the attention of Taehyung on him.
