"Okay," Caroline raised her hands up, "you three are obviously taking this way to far. And why am I not a part of this conversation? You guys do this to me all the time!"
Aelynn moved her sleeve back down her arm even as Elena stared at the near perfect handprint.
"That's not true," Elena shook her head at what Caroline said.
Bonnie gave Elena a look, "yes it is," then she looked at Caroline, "I can talk to you, we all can, you don't listen."
"That's not true," the blonde was quick to defend herself, an incredulous look on her face.
"I'm a witch," Bonnie stated to Caroline with a flat face.
"And don't we all know it," Caroline fired back.
"See? That's what I'm talking about. I'm trying to tell you something," Bonnie argued back, trying to get her friend to listen to her, "you don't even hear it." With that, Bonnie left the kitchen.
Aelynn folded her arms across her chest and looked at Caroline with an unimpressed look on her face. She couldn't help but that recently Caroline had been a crap friend and had gotten more self-absorbed since the school year started. She wondered what had happened with her friend and if Damon had anything to do with it. She made a mental note to ask.
Caroline then looked at the sisters, "I listen, when do I not listen?"
Aelynn gave the blonde a wide eyed looked and shook her head in Bonnie's general direction, "I think I can give you at least one example."
The blonde let out a huff as Aelynn again nodded her head towards the living room where Bonnie was seated. Caroline gave her a pleading look as the brunette gave her a sterner look and went to go shove her towards their friend.
The pair then followed the blonde but stopped just shy of the room, hiding behind the wall to listen to the apology. Aelynn winced as she heard the beginning, not thinking it was the best way to start it off. However, as the apology went on, it got better.
"Aelynn, Elena, you can come in now! We're done," Caroline shouted as the two revealed themselves.
The sisters walked in and sat themselves down. Aelynn opted for the chair that was next to the couch instead of the couch itself.
"Well," Caroline put her hands on her thighs, "there is just way to much drama in this room. So, what do you guys wanna do?" She paused, waiting for a response, then she gasped, "I have an idea," she sat up straight and looked between the three in the room with her, "why don't we have a seance?" she had a wide smile on her face.
"I don't think that's a good idea," Bonnie interjected, looking at Aelynn who was nodding furiously with Bonnie's statement.
"Yeah, I don't know if I feel fine with that.." she trailed off.
Caroline had already started to walked towards the kitchen again, "come on, let's summon some spirits."
Aelynn looked at her arm, "somehow, I don't think we need to do that."
"This Emily chick has some serious explaining to do," Caroline carried on, not even hearing what Aelynn had to say.
Soon, the three girls were in Elena's room. She had watched them gather the candles and set them up. She frankly wanted no part in setting it up. Still, she was dragged into the circle by Caroline. As soon as she sat and link her fingers with Elena and Bonnie, the familiar prickling sensation returned, and she felt goosebumps travel up her neck.
"What are we doing?" Bonnie asked after a moment or two of silence.
Aelynn turned to see that Elena looked entirely done with the situation, "I don't know," her sister stated.
