Yellow carnations.
While they're so pretty and bright, the disappointment they carry in their petals is awfully painful.

Jisung's pov.

The next morning was as peaceful as the others pre it, others would call it not peaceful at all, but I'd love to disagree and find the small glimpse of peace and hope in these mornings.

I was lucky enough to be able to shower today, I still haven't eaten anything however, I still haven't got paid after last night's performance, I don't even know if I will, but my empty stomach would beg for the reassurance that it will be fed soon.

As I wore my morning outfit, I almost gagged when I smelled it but I barely have water to wash myself washing them isn't an option right now, my phone rang cutting my trial of thoughts.

How much I wish I hadn't picked up.

"Hello?" I said into the phone, "hey! Is this Han Jisung?" A high pitched voice from the other line, how did she know who am I? And how did she get my number, the only people that have it are the base owner- right.. why am I surprised? as I could trust them to not give it away in an exchange of money.

"Yes, that's me." I replied shortly, "that's great, I would like to offer you a job." I'm not sure how long did it take me to comprehend the words she said but it was long enough for her to call for me, "hello? Han?"

"Yes yes, I'm here, what do you mean you want to offer me a job?" I asked hoping to get more details.

"I saw you yesterday at the event and I asked your managers for your number, they said they don't mind sharing you." That sounds kind of offensive, but I don't think she meant it that way.

"I'll send you a location for where the interview will be held." She said before I could answer her previous statement, "um, can I know more about the job and nature of the interview?" It took all courage in me to ask her and I only received a "I'll tell everything in the meeting, it's a casual interview so don't worry much,"

I have an unsettling feeling but I'm sure it's the unfamiliarity of the situation, "when should I show up?" I questioned pushing the feeling down, " I'm already there, so as soon as possible." I started freaking out just as the words left her mouth, "I'll be there," the words left my mouth but not my brain.

I'm already dressed and I gave up on going to the base to ask them for my money, knowing the percentage of getting any was small anyway, I quickly left the apartment and opened the location, it's a 45 minutes walk according to what google says.

"Hey young man," a lady called for me once I exit the old building, I turned around to find the same old lady from the other day, "I wanted to thank you so much for helping me and my grandson, I asked around and people told me you live hear and go on walks everyday early in the morning," I didn't bother correcting her information about me going for walks, it can surely count as that.

"I thought maybe this would help you instead of walking," she pointed behind me at a bike that's laying again the building's gate, "it's the boy's father's bike, but he's not around anymore so it's no use." She explained, I was about to protest but she cut me off, "use it for good!" She said cheerfully before turning around and walked away, I stood there stunned from what just happened but I quickly I remembered I'm in hurry.

I hurried to the bike and rode it, I thanked the lady under my breath before opening the directions on my phone so I can follow it.

Time was passing in slow motion the whole way there but once it read I'm almost there I felt like it flied by and I didn't have enough time to prepare myself for anything that'll happen once I get there.

All the emotions that overflow me the whole way quickly turned into confusion once I arrived at the destination that's set on the location, the building looked so old yet heavily guarded, I was about to ring the girl from earlier to ask if I'm in the right place when a huge guard approached me, "are you Han Jisung?" He asked with a stirn voice.

"Y-yes, that's me." I had to swallow down both my saliva and anxiety before I answered, "follow me," he ordered and by now another gaurd was there and took the bike from my hand.

As I followed them inside I wondered why I let my hopes up, it's probably a similar job to what I work now, but still a part of me hopes it's going to be better at least by a small percentage.

"Well. Look who's finally here." A girl said and I recognized her voice as the girl on the phone,"tie him." She said and in a split of second the two gaurds were pinning me again the wall and rolled the two ends of a rope around my wrist then tied it.

I didn't even bother fighting them off knowing I would never win, I never do anyway, being kidnapped from my kidnaper just adds some spice and confirmation to the words.

"You really thought you'd get to hurt my Minho and get his attention and I'll let you go that easily?" Minho- did he plan all this? I never took as a criminal but I should have known better than to trust my judgement.

All I know is that I fell down after I felt a needle on my arm.
