[Panda Notes!

My Readers: Felicia, please...finish one of your other stuff!

Me: Haha! No!

But in all seriousness; This story will contain new lore about magical beasts. Some elements of the original will be altered or completely removed. This is an AU if you don't like the changes don't read. This is our view and telling of the story. A sleep-deprived brain-rot idea that wouldn't leave us alone

Now normally I don't do the 'don't like, don't read' thing. But, from my...sources, apparently that's still a problem in this fandom. Well, regardless, I'm glad they told me. An ounce of protection prevents a pound of trouble so the saying goes.

More Notes:

Hey guys, so as I've mentioned I'm going to be revamping the older chapters

...this was painful...

:D

So I lied, I'm doing it again...Sorry, Not Sorry]

Eleven Years Ago
10/31

The bright afternoon sun shone above everything; leaves were changing, and the autumn air wisping through as everyone was getting ready for the evening festivities that were trick or treating or the parties at the local pubs. Parents were putting out carved pumpkins, children eagerly getting into their costumes and playing around, making sure not to get dirty in the process. High spirits were all around as everyone, mundane and extraordinary, enjoyed the annual day of spooks and treats.

So it started out, everyone paused as a shadow blanketed over everything. Briefly, a lot of people turned to the source, an eclipse! A total eclipse of the sun, it wasn't often that it happened but it was still amazing to see and though rare, it added to the fun, after all, how often did an eclipse like this happen on Halloween itself if ever?

"Good afternoon, folks, this is Vivien Rook here to wish everyone a Happy Halloween." The woman smiled, her short blond hair had pumpkin hair clips in it and she was dressed in a black dress covered with pumpkins. "Now, for those of you out of the loop, we have the rare solar eclipse today and I want to remind everyone just a few simple health and safety measures to ensure Halloween is without accidents or injuries. Please, remember that just because this is an eclipse this does not mean looking up into the sun; if you have, even for a brief second please seek treatment from your local eye care professional if you or your child have any changes in vision that continue to get worse."

It was a curious sight to behold as it seemed to have covered the entire country! Over in Wiltshire, Lucius Malfoy looked out for a brief second at the darkened lands from the safety of Malfoy Manor. Shadows covered the forested area that surrounded the Malfoy property, their hedges looked like a snake slithering around the grounds due to the shadows, the only visible thing would be the white peacocks that would wander around. In another room, Narcissa was with their son and getting things finalized for one of their many themed balls that was happening that evening; suppose that one could say that the eclipse happening today added to the atmosphere.

Something about this particular eclipse was making everything...different. Lucius looked at his wand, normally there would be a powerful surge whenever an eclipse did happen but this time it was all over the place, erratic, chaotic, even a simple spell would cause something to go wrong. Such was the case when a house elf, Dobby, had apparated with a tea set, the end result was the spell missed its mark and caused the set to crash on the ground, Lucius sighed and looked over to see Dobby starting to fret, he already knew where this was going.

"Don't you dare whip yourself over this," Lucius snapped at the elf. He watched Dobby whimper before nodding, the order wouldn't be fulfilled. Just another day at Malfoy Manor with a self-masochist house elf.
