I'm the depths of kinship, a transformation grew,
What once was platonic, to something wondrously new.
Through countless nights, our bond began to soar,
You were my solace when my spirit felt sore.
Yet, irony lingers, as a bittersweet tune,
For the love I yearned, I couldn't grasp soon.
Like a distant star, you shimmered in the night,
A longing in my heart, that burned so bright.
Oh, how we laughed and shared secrets unrestrained,
But my desires, unable to be fully attained.
I admired you deeply, with an aching heart's plea,
A love hidden silently, for none but me to see.
But alas, fate's hand dealt a challenging blow,
For I couldn't possess you, as I longed to know.
In the realm of friendship, my love will remain,
A cherished connection, despite the silent pain.
