Birthday Party

"Gustuhin ko mang sumama sainyo pauwi ng Bicol but I won't miss this opportunity. My former boss  suggested me to have a book signing for my first ever story this Saturday since it's kinda popular here. So, I accepted it." I'm so excited the moment I got the news. Kaagad siyang nag message saakin. He told me that the National book store wants to hold a book signing event for me since it's all over the internet that I'm here.

"Anong kinda? You mean, very. Ofcourse, do not miss that one. Everyone's talking and hoping about you on social media to schedule a book signing." I smiled at that.

This was the same feeling I've got when I realized back then that I've got discovered.

"I told you. It will work in here.

"Thank you. Until now i still don't know what to do with my life, without you two" niyakap ko si Becca at Tricia na nagre-ready na pabalik ng Bicol kasama kina mama at papa.

"You're still joining us for applying in BU?"

"Yeah, ofcourse. I still want to be a teacher. I'll send my resume and application form. Uuwi ako for interview" mag a-apply kami sa Bicol University as a primary teachers. Nakapasa kami sa LET right after we graduated as an AB English students before pero di din naman namin nagamit kaagad.

I know my parents hate that, they will always prefer the bus but they was forced by my friends when they told them the news about my sister, Mica having a suitor. She's on her fourth year in college though. Pero dahil first time ito ay nagulat kina mama at papa so they want to rush back home.

I couldn't help but laugh as I'm waving them goodbye and sending my good luck too. They're even supportive about it, they just want to meet the guy sincerely. Like mine before. I sighed at that thought. Memories flashes through my head. My simple college life and perfectly planned dreams that I wanted to be. Not until he came and I lost it.

I took a taxi cab to take me to the restaurant where I should meet sir Edu. He was there on time and we discussed the things I want to happen on my first book signing here in Manila. He lets me decide whatever the hell I want. He told me that incase I have a new book, I can promote it too, right after I signed all the target attendees. I'm so thrilled about this. I feel like I'm still walking into my dreams.  Even though I'm kinda late to get to do this, to publish my works, atleast I still got the chance to introduce my piece of art.

"It will be on Saturday, don't forget.

It alarmed him and asked me to leave the place instead. Pinagbuksan niya ako ng sasakyan. I don't know where are we going right now. But I'm thinking right now that probably I should buy myself a car. Commuting is pretty hassle for me.

"We can talk about it through text if you want to" I suggested. Gusto ko na din namang magpahinga. Nakakapagod ang araw na ito para saakin. Nag bar kami kagabi nina Becca at anong oras na kami nagising kaninang umaga.
