Friday 24th May

10:03AM
Kayla had science next whereas Parker had history. They once again parted ways.. not seeing each other again until lunch.

Kayla had walked over to the back to stay away from Debbie Lowe. She would always copy everyone's work and then make the others take the blame and Kayla was not letting her be the one to get in trouble today.

"Good morning class, hope we've all had a good day so far!" Miss Collier said as she was handing out some equation sheets.

A student had walked late into class which got everyone's attention. All heads rose up and faced Ruby Wilson.

"Miss Wilson may I ask why are you so late?"

"Mr Turner made me stay back in art for a word." She said walking to the unoccupied seat right next to Kayla.

"I see.. well I've handed everyone an equation sheet and I'm sure there's one on your desk so please work on that for now."

Kayla was writing down the answers to some questions when she felt Ruby staring at her, she looked over to see her looking at the gummy bear bracelet she wore. "Pretty"

That's all she could say? Ruby's been rude to her all week and now she calls her bracelet pretty, giving compliments out.

"Umm thanks Ruby." Trying not to start much of a conversation up.

"You know.. when I was walking to science I saw Parker and-"

Kayla had interrupted before Ruby could even finish, "Don't. Just don't, I don't want to hear any of it. Just stop talking and get on with your work."

"Ouch, told you Parker was a bad influence on you."

"Can you just shut up for once in your life!" Kayla shouted, making the entire class turn.

"Miss Cooper go to the principals office right now! And you Miss Wilson, I don't see what you find so funny! OUT" Miss Collier said causing a huge silence to follow after.

10:14AM
They both walked outside and moved away from each other. Ruby was walking against the lockers staring over at Kayla, but Kayla wasn't even looking in her direction at all.

Mr Joseph, the principal, had got himself a coffee from the staff room when he saw the two walking towards his office. "Miss Wilson and Miss Cooper.. what is the reason you are out of lesson?"

Before Kayla could say anything, Ruby told him that Kayla was the reason for it all. Angry that Ruby had now got her in trouble, Kayla told Mr Joseph that she was lying and that she kept on talking to her in the middle of class. The two started bickering over and over until Mr Joseph finally told them to stop talking.

"Girls this is a joke, you are sophomores and you're acting like this. Detention for the both of you I don't want to hear what anyone has to say anymore. Get back to class."

Ruby didn't care, a detention was normal for her. She just wanted Kayla to get in trouble.

As they were walking back, Ruby started telling Kayla how none of this would've happened if it wasn't for Parker. Kayla looked at her and thought that she just won't stop at all. She'll never stop. That's when Ruby started screaming all of a sudden, "Kayla get off, you're hurting me!"

Confused, Kayla told her to stop but Ruby just kept on screaming more and more. All the classes in the hallway started to run out, every door opening one after the other. They all ran and formed a circle chanting the word 'fight'.

Parker and Spencer had come in the circle both shocked to see it being Kayla and Ruby. Ruby kept on pulling her hair and Kayla just tried pushing her away. The two boys both ran in the circle and tried to pull each girl off. The teachers ran away calling more teachers to come.

Parker had grabbed Kayla's waist and pulled her off of Ruby. He pulled her out of the fight and just as he was about to go take Kayla somewhere, someone dragged him in the circle by his arm, pulling his shoulder out of place.

He got up to see Spencer pulling Ruby away and him running up to Parker. They both fought the exact same as Monday but something was different. All the drama that had happened this week was what made their true anger come out.

Kayla was trying to call out to Parker to get him to stop but Mrs Melanie had pulled her away. Many teachers came in the fight and separated them but blood was all on each others faces. Loads of students left to go back to their classes but the four of them were taken to the principals office.

10:57AM
"What on Earth was that. Boys I told you both to put an end to this nonsense! And what you girls think that fightings the answer to everything now!?" Mr Joseph was glowing red. His eyebrows were up and his eyes were wide. He was angry, so angry that he slammed both his hands on his table causing the whole room to shake. The four of them stood in a line shocked.

"You three wait outside, I'm speaking to Miss Cooper first, then one of you will be next in here to tell me what happened."

Kayla sat down in the chair opposite Mr Joseph, "I've never known you to act in this way. I'm very disappointed, I will have to call your parents about this and you most likely will be suspended for a few days."

"Wait what no. I didn't do anything I swear, all I did was protect myself! Ruby started attacking me!"

"And why would she attack you?"

"Because she's impossible! She doesn't talk it out like other people, she can't handle the fact that I'm not on her side with things. That's why." Kayla said sitting up from her chair, getting agitated.

"I'll still have to talk to your parents and the others' too. Fighting is not acceptable, even if it was for defence you still touched someone. I can look into the CCTV and if you really did try to defend yourself, then I can try to overlook the suspension but for the others I can't say the same."

She felt horrible for Parker, he tried to help her and now he might be suspended. All because Ruby just couldn't leave them alone.
