Chapter 9

Dani's POV

I woke up to the sun blaring on my face. I reached out to my side for Demi and realized that it was empty thinking that she joined me last night. I sat up and looked around the room as my eye catches on a note that was on the nightstand. I picked it up and read it.

'Dear Dani,

I'm really sorry for what happened earlier. I didn't mean to upset you. I'll give you space to think. But please don't leave me, I need you. I'll sleep in the guest room tonight. I'll be downstairs if you need me. I love you baby.

Demi'

I smiled at the note and put it in the drawers. I stood up and grabbed my towel and went to the bathroom to take a shower. After I was done, I quickly change to a t-shirt and sweats. I went downstairs towards the living room after hearing the sound of the tv thinking that Demi was already up. I walked towards the couch and saw that Demi was sleeping peacefully. I kissed her forehead and took a blanket that was behind the couch and cover her up. I walked to the kitchen to start on breakfast and blast some music from my phone humming and dancing while finding the ingredients to make pancakes.

Demi's POV

The smell of pancakes and bacon filled the air as I wake up, sore, from sleeping on the couch. I stretched a little bit before standing up, making my way to the kitchen. As I was in my way to the kitchen, I heard the song, Crazy Stupid Love by Cheryl playing and the sound of Dani's voice singing along to it softly. It was Dani's favorite song to sing and dance to in the morning. I walked in the kitchen to find her moving her body to the rhythm of the song while flipping the pancakes on the stove. I leaned on the counter and stared at her smirking.

"Nice moves you got there." I said, making her jump.

"Oh my god Demi. Don't do that, you're gonna give me a heart attack." She replied placing her hand over her heart. I giggled and mutter a sorry and sit on top of the counter.

"How long have you been standing there?" she asked, turning back around, continuing to flip the pancakes and putting it on the plates.

"Long enough to hear you singing a little and seeing you move those hips." I replied. "You've gotta be kidding me." She turned off the stove, turning around facing me and covered her face with her hands.

"I'm not." I jumped down the counter and stand in front of her, taking off the hands of her face and hold it. "You're good. You should do it more often." I winked and let go of her hands. She blushed and covered her face again with her hands. I laughed and stared at her, seeing the redness of her cheeks fade as she uncovered her face.

"So I've prepared breakfast." She said, changing the topic. "There are pancakes and bacon and toast if you want some. Do you want coffee, tea or juice?" she asked, turning her back on me.

"Coffee please. I'm just gonna head up and take a shower okay?" she stopped what she was doing and mumbled an okay and continued what she was doing. I sigh and walked toward her, wrapping my arms around her waist resting my chin on her shoulder.

"Are you still mad at me?" I whispered. I heard her sigh, and she took my hands before turning around and faced me.

"I'm not, really. I just over-reacted, I guess. I didn't expect him to be there and seeing you and him together, alone there just makes me feels like shit. I'm sorry about running out of your parent's house like that." She said looking down, sniffling as tears streamed down her face.

"I'm sorry for making you feel like that. But I promise you, nothing happened. Yes he might have said stuff, but that doesn't mean that I feel the same way about him does it? I love you way to much Dani. I want nothing else, just you. As cheesy as that sound but it's true. And I might have told my family. About us, I mean. They were asking so many questions but they were fine with it honestly." I wiped the tears that was falling down and kissed her forehead leaving my hands on her cheeks.

"I'm gonna have my shower now. You can have your breakfast first if you're hungry; don't have to wait for me." I kissed her forehead again and smile at her before leaving the kitchen and head up to the bathroom.

Author's Narration

After the both of them had their breakfast, they spend their day indoor, watching movies, cuddling, talking and much more. Dani was happy about what Demi has told her earlier. Once again she felt loved by the woman who had captivated her heart.
