I stand on the wet grass. My legs feel like their about to give out. In front of me there stands the lord and next to him Ella, woundless. Even tough i have known her for years she seems like a complete starnger to me now. I squint my eyes, trying to see the old Ella and my heart hurts when i can't see the same girl i used to know. "Ella?" i ask out loud. "Vaelra", Ella says and smiles. "Came here to safe me?" she asks.
I nod and look down, but won't let the tears run. I look behind my shoulder but the boys are not here. The lord was one step ahead of us and sent all his men, attacked us. Only leaving me behind. The boys are not dead, i know it, but their wounded.
"You came a long way to safe your friend. That's true friendship Vaelra", the lord speaks meanly. "Don't you feel like crying?" he asks and bends down a bit to see my face. I nod. "Why aren't you crying?" he asks. "I don't cry before i have to!" i yell.
Then i feel something stabbing me, the lord shot me! I gag, and my eyes go blurry. "Your destiny is to die in here. You will die Vaelra."
My legs give out.
I open my eyes for the couple last times. The grass is wet, i lay on my back. I am even more lonely than before, i am left to bleed alone. The lord and Ella are not there eather.
I look at the sky, dark and beautiful. And one last time think about Drew, Lucifer, Darew and Kevin and their kind father, and Fred.
