Chapter 18 - Ella's location

It is the autumn holidays first day, Monday. I will go and visit our grandparents with Daniel. They have a big, brown two floored home. 

I put my bag onto the floor by the front door when someone knocks on the door. I open the door and just and just am enough fast to see it's Drew before he pulls me out to the stairway. "Is there a war somewhere!?" i ask surprised. "We know where Ella is, can you skip your go in any way!?" he asks fast. "Uh not anymore, my grandparents will be here in 30 mins", i say and look into his focused eyes. "Where Ella is?" noticing there does not seem to be a lot of time. "I can't explain so fast! At the same time i don't want to scare you! Come visit us as soon as you come back and absolutely don't start to think about it!" Drew says so fastly i barley make any sense of his words. "Drew, slow down!" i say. I grab his hand and pull him outside. "I can make us 30 mins more", i say and lean behind the wall, texting my granny Daniel is still at his friends place and to kill some time.  Drew nods and takes a deep breath.

"We got to know last night that the soul eaters has taken Ella with them to their own world". Drew says, putting pressure to his every word to make it clear to me. "But they still don't have my blood?" i ask confused. "No, but they took a risk to lure you in their own world, but if the portal closes now, Ella will be stuck there forever", Drew says and looks at the ground. "We must save her", i answer horrified.

"Yes but i don't know if we can let you help.. I mean if the portal closes when your in..", Drew says but cuts off the last words i can already guess. I nod understanding he is scared that i will be stuck in the soul eaters world and they will kill me. "I will take the risk for Ella", i say after a moment of silence. "I know that, but will we take that risk?" Drew asks and smiles croockedly. "Your so cute when your being too brave", he whispers to the darkness of the night.
