At lunch time i sit alone by a table. I spin around my fork in the mushed potato, fully in my own thoughts when something suddenly flies next to my ear on the table. A bat! I look at it's dark blue eyes, it must be Drew. I look around me but everyone is too focused on something else. "Outside", i mumble and Drew flies out of the open door.
After finishing i find Drew from the corner of the school building. "What are you doing here?" i ask surprised. Drew changes his form and soon the usual vampire sits on the sand boxes corner. "I came to check up on you, you look pale.. And i am scared your.. Uh.. Not in the position to take part in the plan because your still wounded!" he explains and fixes his glasses. "No i am!" i say. "Are you sure?" he asks and gets up. I nod. "You don't feel any pain?" he asks. "No", i lie, knowing that if i say yes he won't let me safe Ella and i can't watch her suffer under the manipulations the lord has put in her head. She needs to be safed fast so maybe we have a change of getting the old her back.
After a moment Drew asks: "When does your class start?"
"I still have time."
"How long?"
"Half an hour."
"Okay, when does your school end?"
"In an hour."
"We will come pick you up", he says with a smile.
