The next night i am in the bedroom when Drew walks in. Drew closes the door and locks the door. He is holding something in his other hand but i don't realise what. Then i notice.. My diary.
"Is it true?" he asks and walks to me, holding my arms. "Have you really thought about suicide lately? Because i found your diary from the living room, open, and i red the latest page", he says and takes my wrists. I go speechless. I can feel my hands sweat a bit. Drew pulls me into a hug, putting his other hand on my back and wrapping his other arm around my waist. "Don't you even dare Vaelra", he says. "First you promise you will never put yourself in danger like that again and now i get to know something like this", he says and hugs me tighter. Suddenly i feel like a kid. "Drew i'm not a child! Don't talk to me like a one!"
"I know damn well your not a child but you need to be taken care of like one."
"I don't need to be taken care of!"
Drew looks straight into my soul. "Oh yeah? Your wounded for the second time and your being suicidal because of the pressure you have!"
"Ella is more traumatized than me, she didn't even think this all was real!"
"Just forget about Ella now!" Drew says that makes me stop. "The lord almost killed you twice, he SHOT you", he adds. Then he comes to me, taking a deep breath. "Vaelra, it's time to take it easy and admit your hurt", he says very calmly. "You don't need to be strong anymore.."
Something falls on my cheeck, a tear that Drew wipes away with his thumb. "Hey, hey, hey sweetie it's ok!" Drew whispers and pulls me into a hug. He kisses me. "We will save your family, but not now, not when your wounded this bad and you will not do it alone", Drew murmurs in my hair. "I won't let my girlfriend die, ok?"
