I wake up from another nightmare with my eyes wide open. There is dark everywhere, Drew is sleeping next to me. I feel an urge to leave the house, a big urge that i can't fight. I kiss Drew's forehead but don't wake him up and leave the book shop.
I walk on the dark street where i'm not supposed to be at but i feel a lot more better getting fresh air after a nightmare. It only would be a small night walk after all, but Drew would be mad at me for putting myself into danger again. All alone in the vampire world around midnight. I didn't know where i was going but my legs kept going.
The street light shines yellow. I sit on the ground and look around in like in a magical dream, in an episode. How long hadi been gone and had Drew woken up and started searching for me? No one had attacked me but i felt cold, the wind was blowing and i only had my night clothes on, a hoodie and shorts. Something snapped in me, the relazition of what i had done.
"I said i would get mad at you", i can hear a man say. I flinch and look to my side. Someone is walking towards me. The figure has a long black jacket and his steps are sure of where their going. Dark blue ocean eyes looked angry and i could imagine a small boat struggling in waves. "I thought you wouldn't wake up", i mumble and look at the ground. "Yes, i did not wake up. I woke up after you had already left. I said i would be angry but for some damn reason i can't help but to love you more and more every second. I also notice how much i should look after you", Drew says and puts his hands on my shoulders. "Your so crazy but so.. Sweet", Drew whispers and presses a kiss on my cheeck. "What is it with you that you can't accept that i want you between my arms and protect you from everything bad?" Drew asks and his gaze sinks deep inside my soul. "I will protect myself", i say bravely. Drew just smiles like he wouldn't believe at all. "With my that is not a choise", Drew says, pressing me into a hug. "I won't let you protect me!" i deny but Drew laughs. "I have seen it! You really hate to be protected but i will keep doing it", Drew says.
"Are you angry?" i ask. "No, but i do expect for an apology", Drew answers. "Sorry i broke my promise.."
