Hyunjin was excited, maybe a little bit more than excited. He was dancing alone in his room while his mother was downstairs cooking. She heard all the footsteps of her son above her.
He was dancing to many different songs. Some super hype songs, and some sad ones. They were different, but he still danced perfectly to each song.
Dance With Me began playing. He slowly and gently began moving to the song. He spun around and moved his feet gracefully. He was taken away by the music. He didn't even the people standing at the door of his room watching him.
Felix watched him with pure love. He had always loved Hyunjin's dancing. Whatever world Hyunjin was in, Felix felt a part of that world. To Felix, seeing Hyunjin dance to the song they considered THEIR song gave him a fuzzy feeling.
The others were in awe, they never had the opportunity to watch Hyunjin dance. Minho saw him dance a lot, but never to any slower songs.
"Yoh! Hyunjin-ahh! That was amazing!" Changbin was the first to shout when the song had ended. Hyunjin looked at them with surprise.
Tears slowly streamed down his face as he stared at his friends. He wasn't sure if that was the right word to describe. They still hadn't made up for everything that had happened.
"Hyung..." Felix finally spoke. Hyunjin missed his voice a lot. He wanted to wrap Felix in a tight hug and never let go. He didn't though, he didn't know if Felix would be comfortable with it.
Hyunjin stood still, he watched them all carefully. He watched as Jeongin hesitated to go up to him. He watched how his 'best friend' looked everywhere that wasn't him. How his Hyungs just stared at him. How Jisung held onto Felix's arm. Felix's eyes were shining as they looked at Hyunjin.
Hyunjin decided to go to Hyunjin first. He seemed the most eager to be back by Hyunjin. He slowly moved to the maknae while sniffling. Jeongin pulled him into a hug as soon as he was close enough.
"Hyung I missed you so much. There wasn't one day when I didn't wonder how you were holding up." Jeongin whispered into Hyunjin's hair.
"Jeongin, somehow it seems that you were the only one," Hyunjin whispered back. That broke Jeongin's heart. He felt himself tearing up.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone. I wasn't thinking straight Hyung I would have stayed if I knew." Jeongin began speaking in his normal voice. His voice still sounded hurt.
The others had just been staring at the two. Felix had noted everything between the two. He noted when Jeongin whispered into Hyunjin's hair and the fact Hyunjin had gone to Jeongin first.
It made Felix jealous. He had come back to feel love from Hyunjin again, but he wasn't getting any. Jeongin got all of it and it made Felix hurt inside.
