A/N: Written like chapter 4 I've been going back and forth between writing methods so let me know which writing method you like from chapter 3 4 and 5)

Sky let her eyes open as sunlight peered into her room. She groaned and turned over, only to hear Jinora yelling her name excitedly from the other side of the door. Before Sky could respond, Jinora popped into the room, brimming with energy.
"Did you hear the rumors around the island?" Jinora asked eagerly. Still groggy, Sky sat up and yawned. "Hear what?"
"They're saying the tremors from yesterday were caused by the Spirit Guardian!" Jinora exclaimed, jumping up and down.
Sky stared at her sister, nonplussed. As the true Spirit Guardian, Sky knew this wasn't the case. Before she could respond, Jinora continued, "Dad is having an emergency meeting with the council right now to discuss it!"
"Where's Korra?" Sky asked, wanting the Avatar's input on such a situation.
"She's still in Republic City with Mako and Bolin," Jinora replied, climbing onto Sky's bed. "Now come on, Mom's making breakfast!" she said, trying to pull Sky out of bed.
"Just be careful, I'm still recovering," Sky reminded her gently. Jinora apologized and hopped off the bed, urging Sky to hurry.
As soon as Jinora left, Mason and Jason appeared with concerned looks. "Did you hear the rumors?" Sky asked them.
"Yeah, we overheard the council meeting," Mason began.
"They want to contact the Avatar to ask about contacting the Spirit Guardian," Jason finished grimly.
Sky stared at them in shock. "No, I'm not ready to reveal myself yet. If Korra finds out..." she trailed off, panicking.
Jason placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, we won't let that happen."
"What do we do?" Sky asked fretfully.
"Mason and I have an idea," Jason replied. He then proposed that Sky disguise herself as the Spirit Guardian to meet with the council first and maintain her secret identity.
Sky shook her head doubtfully. "Anyone could claim to be the Spirit Guardian if I'm in disguise."
Jason chuckled. "Not with this," he said, pulling out a small box. Inside lay a beautiful amethyst ring.
Let's see...where did we leave off? Ah yes, Sky had just received the amethyst ring from Jason and Mason.
sky held the ring up, studying its muted glow. A sense of calm emanated from the gemstone, as if sharing the spirit council's peaceful intent. She slipped it onto her finger, welcoming its new energy with curiosity rather than fear.
As Jason predicted, a brief surge sparked at the contact, but quickly dissipated into a subtle warmth. Sky smiled, newly assured. "This ring will indeed convey my role when the time comes. Thank you both for your foresight."
Mason grinned. "So what will you wear for your big 'reveal'?"
Sky pondered for a moment. "Something flowing yet sturdy, to move freely yet mask my true shape. Maybe an outfit that has some colors of each element?."
Jason snapped his fingers. "I've got the perfect disguise in mind!" In a wisp, he vanished, reappearing moments later with rich black fabric in hand. "This wool is warm yet thin. And the deep hood will fully shroud your features."
Sky ran her hands over the textured weave approvingly. Mason appeared with a dark blue mask and a dark red hair ribbon. "You'll have to act like a water bender like Korra, I'm not sure how they would react if they found out the spirit guardian bends a different element, let alone a non bender" Sky smiled as she took the items before dressing swiftly. With Jason's help adjusting the voluminous drapes, her mortal form vanished behind layered folds. Only a solitary swirling amethyst gave a hint of the spiritual force within.
Her confidence building, Sky turned to her guides. "How do I appear? Fit to meet with spirits and men alike while retaining my anonymity?"
Mason and Jason bowed deeply. "The Spirit Guardian's majesty is manifest. You will dazzle and mystify all who set eyes upon your radiant visage!"
Sky laughed. "Then let our meeting commence! Lead me to where the council awaits, so balance's work may continue."

As the spirit guardian Sky was escorted by her guides Mason and Jason toward the temple, she moved with steady, flowing movements indicating her authoritative yet peaceful spiritual nature. Upon arriving, hushed voices echoed from within signaling likely anxious discussions over the recent earth tremors felt across the lands.
