A/N: Decided to try a different method of writing, not sure if I like it but it has some of my ideas and stuff, so I'm pleased, however this chapter may be rewritten in the near future once the book is done
Sky took a shaky breath, squeezed his father's hand, and gathered the strength to recall the memory that had just surfaced. "I was in the forest," she said slowly, "and everything was hurting and very chaotic. But I saw a dark figure approaching me. I couldn't scream or run away. It was like an invisible force was grabbing Lived in my body." Body. " Katara and Tenzin exchanged anxious looks, their attention completely focused on Sky as she shared her unsettling experience.
Sky recounted the moment when she became aware that her blood was being manipulated against her will, a startling realization that left her feeling utterly helpless. The control exerted over her through her life force was a chilling revelation, causing her breath to hasten as she vividly relived the fear and anguish she had endured. Tenzin enveloped his daughter in a tender and comforting embrace, providing her solace and reassurance amid the turmoil.
With genuine gratitude in his voice, he expressed his appreciation to Sky for her bravery in disclosing the truth. Seeking guidance and insight, he then directed his attention towards Katara, inquiring whether the possibility of Amon's devoted disciples remaining active could persist even after the passage of numerous years. Katara's face contorted with a profound frown as she expressed her concern. She contemplated the lingering possibility that there might still be individuals who stubbornly adhere to the cause of the notorious blood bender.
Aware of the fact that bloodletting is both illegal and morally reprehensible, she vowed to take swift action against the responsible party who subjected Sky to such a heinous act. Rest assured, the wrongdoer shall not evade the severe repercussions that await them for their despicable actions. Sky found solace in her father's embrace, yet her heart remained entangled in a web of fear and uncertainty. Questions swirled relentlessly in her mind, causing her to ponder the motives behind the impending attack and the intentions of those who sought to harm her. Katara responded in a reassuring tone, expressing her uncertainty by saying, "To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about the situation at hand." However, she quickly reassured Sky, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring his safety by firmly stating, "Rest assured, we will not allow anyone to cause you harm." To prioritize his well-being, she advised him to concentrate on regaining his strength, diverting his attention away from any potential threats.
Demonstrating her remarkable water-bending skills, Katara skillfully maneuvered the water over Sky's wounds, alleviating his discomfort and providing him with much-needed relief. Sky let out a gentle sigh, finding solace in the calming embrace of the healing waters that seemed to alleviate the weariness coursing through her body. However, despite the temporary relief, her thoughts were still consumed by a whirlwind of unease and restlessness. The realization that someone might be specifically targeting her had ignited a fierce determination within her.
She understood the importance of being proactive and vigilant, not only to defend herself but also to uncover the underlying truth behind this inexplicable assault. Tenzin walked over to fetch a glass of water for Sky, gently placing it next to her as he spoke. He advised her to prioritize recuperating her strength for the time being, assuring her that he would personally reach out to Chief Beifong to inquire about any potential sightings of criminals possessing blood-bending powers in the vicinity.
Sky expressed her gratitude by nodding, finding some comfort as she leaned against the soft pillows. While her entire body throbbed with pain, her thoughts were consumed by a whirlwind of unanswered questions. The foremost among them was the identity of the person or people who were relentlessly pursuing her. As she pondered over this enigma, another concern plagued her mind - the whereabouts of Jason and Mason.
