Chapter 29

CRAWFORDS POV

I could have sworn I saw someone in the lab, but I didn't check. I believe it's Hillary and I don't want her to get involved in this, so I chose to ignore it.

After a meeting with the Angels, we heard noises coming from the lab and hurried down. When we got there everything was destroyed. All our hard work gone to waste. How are we supposed to get years worth of work done in two weeks? They are coming soon and our chances of keeping everyone safe has just dropped to a zero.

Without this I won't be able to keep Hillary out of our mess. I just don't want her to get hurt. And she was probably the one who fucked everything up. Now we were going on locked down and I hope she either got away or that I find her before sombody else does.

HILLARYS POV

Angelica helped me put Austin in his bed. When we walk downstairs all the guys except for Crawford are standing there looking at us.

"Uh, hey guys!" I smile.

"Where's Austin?" Alex asks.

"He was tired and decided to go to sleep." I lie.

"What did you guys do?" Troye comes up to us.

"Just looked for my dad so he could answer some questions. I didn't find him though."

"Why are you hurt?" Tyler points to my injuries.

"You guys ask a lot of questions." I complain.

"I'm going to check up on Austin." Jai starts walking up the stairs but me and Angelica stand in his way.

"No!" She yells.

"Why?" He tries to push past us. We do our best to keep him away from the room.

"What is on you?" He observes the liquid that still stained my clothes.

"Nothing important." I reply.

"What are you two hiding?" The boys push past us and up to Austins room. Before they could enter he walks out.

"Hey, what's up?" He smiles. He was in his usual form.

"You're covered in this too?" Troye complains.

"Yeah, it's nothing." He simply answers and looks at me with a bright smile. I laugh and walk downstairs with everyone else following behind.

"Where is Crawford?" I ask even though I already know. I just want to see if they will tell me.

"He went out. He didn't say where he was going so I figured he was with you." Alex replies.

Crawfords car pulls up just in time. I turn to look at Austin with a panicked look, but he had beat me to it.

"I need to go shower!" We say at the same time and rush up.

"I'll order some food so we can eat when you get out!" Alex yells behind us.

"He can't see us like this! He will know we were the ones that had been in there!" I whisper.

"I know. Just shower and act normal." he demands.

"Ugh, some of it got in my mouth!" I whine then headed to my bathroom.

It is really hard to get this off. Especially since it was all over my hair. Different colors filled my shower. Can't wait to try and get this off of my clothes.

Once I get most of it out I get in my clothes and brush my teeth before going out.When I walked into my room I see Crawford sitting on my bed. I gasp and step back.
