chapter 17

One month later

Its been pretty busy for us in the last couple of days. We joined a high school and had to move. Mean while I was trying to avoid the little visits from paranormals. I cant believe they keep coming to check up on me. I thought I made it obvious that I can take care of myself.

Besides that I havent really had any problems with the new house. I actually think it is a great way to start over. If only the visits would stop, then I would be normal again. Well, as close to normal as I can get.

I was doing good in school, but there were a couple of things I didnt get. I chose not to question anything and just go along with everyone. I bacame really good friends with some kids in our new school and then I found out they dont live that far from me.

Even though most of my school time went great I was still a bit annoyed at some girls that kept flirting with crawford. I mean we were now dating and I know I should trust him, but when he is around angelica, valeria and anastasiya I couldnt help butbe jealous. They are complete barbies. Angelica and valeria have long blonde hair with long legs and super skinny. Mean while anastasiya had long bright red hair with the same body type. She almost looked animated.

Emma didnt like them any more than I did. She would always stay by Tylers side just incase one of them tries anything.

Besides being beautiful, the three girls have something wierd about them. I wasnt sure what it was I just didnt trust them. I tend to stay far from them, but its really hard when they have most of their classes with me.

Right now I was in my new room unpacking.  We each had our own room and I liked it that way. I brought a couple of  my things. I left most stuff in the other house. I wasnt so ready to let go of that house. I grew up there and all my past is there.

I hear a knock on the door. "Come in" I yell. Emma walks in.

"Whats up?" I ask and continue unpacking.

"Nothing. Just checking up on you." She smiles sitting on my bed.

"You just want an excuse to stop unpacking" I laugh and sit next to her.

"Dont tell me you dont want a break from this?"

"Yeah, but the more we stall the more time its going to take for us to finish"

"This is why we have powers. I could have us finish in less than a minute"

"No. Remember we are not using our powers unless its an emergency."

"And what kind of emergency are you talking about because finishing this quickly is a huge emergency for me."

"Thats not an emergency.  Thats just you being lazy."

"Cant I just use my powers this one time so we can go out?" She whines.

Before I can answer a realms door opens and out walks hunter. Hunter is one of the many paranormals that keep randomly showing up.

"Who is he?" Emma asks.

"What are you doing here!?!" I yell ignoring emmas question.

"I came to see you." He responds.

"Yeah, next time call first or something I could have been changing or a human could have been in here." I complain.

"Hillary, who is he?" Emma asks again.

"The name's hunter" hunter answers when I dont.

"That doesnt matter because he is leaving and never coming back. And that goes for all of you who think its okay to just burst into my room at all times." I say pushing him out the door.
