chapter 20

I walk into to whole new realm. I dont remember coming here. Its really pretty, but in a creepy way. Everything makes you want to love it, yet hate it. I dont like this at all. This is exactly why I dont like coming to the realms. 

I walk around looking at how everyone did their own thing. Where am I? It was definitely not any place familiar. I still feel like I should know where I am. Ugh, this place confuses me.

I reach a park when I see ariana talking with someone I couldnt quite see. I turn around quickly rushing the other way. I un into someone making me fall on my ass. I look up to find a gorgeous man infront of me.

"Uh....I.....yeah" I stutter probably sounding like an idiot. 

"Why in such a hurry?"he asks. His voice is perfect just like the rest of him.

"Im headed to......uh, work?" I say. I meant it to be believable but it came out like a question and it made me sound even worse.

"Right" he smiles giving me a hand to stand up.

"Sorry I'm actually trying to get away from my boyfrie-......ex. my ex" I sigh.

"Oh, sounds bad"

"It is. So where am I?" I ask looking around.

"You aren't from here?" He questions

"Nope" I smile.

"Good. Me niether. Now run" he commands taking me by my wrist and pulling me behind him.

"Why are we running?" I ask trying to keep up with him.

We come to a stop in the middle of nowhere. "We are not supposed to be here and if he catches us we're dead" he opens a path and walks through with me behind him.

"Who?" We enter a room which I'm guessing is where he stays.

"Your dad" he says almost to calmly.

"Wait, you know who I am?"

"Yeah, everyone does. Thats one of the reasons I brought you with me. If you get caught they will turn you in and I dont think you want that to happen."

"You have got to be kidding." I sigh.

"Im on my way to a different realm to find some friends. You want to come?" He asks.

"Well I have nowhere else to go"

"That sounds like a yes. Lets go"

Here we go again. Maybe this could be good for me. Get to know the place I was supposed to be raised in. What would it have been for me if I had stayed here? Honestly I didnt get a choice in that when I was younger and I obviously dont remember actually being here at any point in my life besides now.

He pulls me into a completely different realm. "What is this place?" I ask.

"Vampires realm" he grins.

"Wow, I've never been here. Looks kind of depressing" I say looking around.

"Well everyone is basically dead so that explains it" he begins to walk and I follow behind him.

I couldnt get my mind off of crawford. Knowing where he was and knowing that his reaction wasnt going to be good when he finds out where I am. But why should I care? He obviously doesnt.

"My name is Thomas by the way" he smiles.

"Im hillary, but you already know that" I return a slight smile.

We come to a pause. Not paying attention to what he was doing I looked around at everything going on around me. I felt alone even though I was in a crowd of people. I shake off the feeling and turn back to Thomas. He was now talking with some girl.
