"I'm Hillary," I say still trying to catch my breath from the fall.
"So what were you doing up there?" Crawford asks.
"Just listening to music." I start to climb back up and he follows.
"So what are you?" I ask
"What do you mean?" he lightly laughs.
"Look we both know you're not human-" he cuts me off.
"How do I know you're human?" He asks.
"'Cause I am, duh. So tell me." I cross my arms
"No. I cant. It would ruin the mystery in our friendship." He smiles sarcastically.
"But I barely know you." I say.
"Then you shouldn't be asking personal questions." he smiles.
"Are you serious?" I laugh,
"Yeah." he replies while trying not to laugh.
"Then when will you tell me?" I whine.
"When we get to know each other better." he smiles.
"Ok, deal." I say.
"Uh. . .it's getting dark you should get going." he says.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because it's getting dark, I just told you that." he says jumping off the tree.
"Wait, don't go," I say coming down as fast as I can. "Where are you going? Can't you stay and talk? Please." I say following behind him.
He slowly turns around and smiles. "Look, I'm pretty sure we both have better things to do."
"Yeah, but where are you going?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"No reason. I just wanted to know since you're my new friend, but whatever I don't care anymore." I say and walk the other direction.
"Hilly," I hear him call me.
I turn around "What?" I ask now annoyed.
But he was already gone.
