Chapter 33

When I wake up I head down to the kitchen. Alex and Crawford were talking while Emma watched Jai and Tyler try to cook. I sit next to her, but my focus was on Alex and Crawford, who stopped talking as soon as I sat down.

"What's going on?" I turn to them, half expecting to not recieve a proper response.

Alex looks at Crawford then back to me."They're having trouble in the realms."

"And?" I ask.

"They need our help." Alex tells me. Crawford didn't look up at me. Instead he focused on the counter.

"Okay. . .Let's go." I shrug off their lack of confidence in this matter. They always seemed to be hiding something, but I don't pay attention to it anymore. It's better to let it go.

"No." Crawford finally speaks up.

"No?" I look at him confused. Why wouldn't he want to help out his world?

Crawford sighs and stands up, motioning for me to follow him outside.

Once we're outside I cross my arms. "What's going on?"

"You can't go. They don't trust you and I don't trust them."

I laugh at the thought of them thinking I'm the problem. "They don't trust me?"

"They found out about Dante." He clenches his jaw.

I stay quiet for a minute then talk, "He isn't bad."

"He killed Austin."

Oh, no. "What?" I choke out.

"I don't want you anywhere near him. They have him--"

"They have Dante?" I cut him off.

Without thinking I run back inside and up to my room locking the door. Crawford had ran up after me and I'm guessing so did everyone else because now they were all calling out for me.

I grab my jacket and open a portal. As soon as they bust open the door I step through and into the chilly air of the realms.

It's August why is it so cold?

I was right outside the castle of the Angels. I hear an ear splitting scream. I look around but nothing. It even seemed as if I was alone. As if the Realms had been abandoned.

I turn back around and walk towards the building. I walk inside and everyone was there. Creatures from all over the realms were in there. Now facing me. I look down and walk past everyone and towards a closed room.

I walk in and see Crawford, Alex, Emma, Tyler and Jai with the Angel court. They all looked at me. "Where is he?" I ask.

"Hillary, don't do this." One of the Angels says.

"I have to know. Where is he? What did you do to him?"

"He caused this in our realm." She snaps.

"Caused what?"

"Our world is falling apart. We don't know why this is happening, but I am one hundred percent sure it's his fault." She snaps.

I push past them and walk into the room where Dante was. They always put their 'prisoners' in here. I found it weird.

"Dante." I rush over to him.

"No. You have to go for Rowan. I'll be fine."

"What? She's here too?"

"Yeah, we were just checking things out but things got out of hand and she is freezing everything while I'm stuck in here."

"Why the hell would you think this was a good idea?"

"I know. It was stupid, but you have to get Rowan out of here."

"Why? Last time I saw her she tried to kill me."

"Please. If they find her we'll never get out of here."

"Fine." I huff." I'll tell my dad to help you. He hates the Angels as well."

Instead of walking out the door I open a portal into the Fallen Angel Realms. I step out and hurry into my dads mansion. I tell one of his guards to tell him I was looking for him and then I left to find Rowan.

I shouldn't be doing this. The Angels already hate me. Hopefully they won't find out.

It took me forever to find her. She could have been anywhere but I found her in the Fairy Realms. She immediately throw ice at me. I shriek and duck. "I'm trying to help you!" I yell.

"What?" She stops.

"Dante sent me. We need to leave."

"Why should I trust you?"

"Because we both know that if I try anything you can kill me in an instant."

"She nods and walks closer to me. I open a portal into my room back at the normal world. In the distance we hear howling. Oh, no. They sent the wolves after her, and probably me too.

"Hurry." She steps through and I turn to see the wolves stopped and looked at me. Their bright eyes starring right through me. I step into the portal and close it.
