Chris's POV :

I slowed down the car and looked out the window. Nothing has changed here in these two years. I turned the car and crossed to the main road and sped up. The vehicles behind moved forward. I drove carefully looking at the shops on both sides.

I took another turn and headed down the road where I lay in a pool of blood. I see it all again before my eyes.

I stand on the left and she stands on the right. I move towards her with a bouquet of roses and on the other hand she jumps with joy. I drove the car through me and my body became dust in the air.

Little did I know that I would have to return to this street like this. I never wanted a comeback like this. In this life I am always running from one thing to another. I have no choice.

I parked my car in front of our favorite shop. I opened the door and walked out. I headed towards the shop and opened the door. Every time I enter here, my eyes always search for that person.

I turned around and tried to find the person I was looking for. People walk slowly with goods on trolleys.

Oh, there!

A happy smile spread across my lips. The owner is having a serious conversation with a customer.

"You'll get it on the third floor." Told the customer.

"May I see Miss Agnes?"

I asked standing behind her. She tilted her head and looked back.

I waved my hands, biting my lower lip with raised eyebrows.

Every millisecond her expression changed, from blankness to awe, from fear to surprise, from surprise to delight.

"God, God, I can't believe my eyes."
She is filled with joy and disbelief. She is getting nervous but can't control her happiness.

"I miss you." I hugged her to comfort her and she didn't move, just babbling. I looked at her face and she was still surprised.

"Hey.. I'm back." I shook her. She looked at my face for a moment.

"You're back." Out of the blue she screamed out loud and all the customers were looking at us.

And the next thing I remember was a severe pain around my neck. Her bone-breaking embrace turned on her playfulness.

"I'm so glad... you still... remember me." She drew her words out.

She said this many times, "You said this many times, tell me about yourself." I asked curiously.

"I'm married." Saying that she held out her hand towards me with a big smile showing her wedding ring.
