After twenty minutes of jogging, Chris led me to the terrace. I was eager to see the amazing view he said. I don't know what's there to amaze?

After jogging, he didn't allow me to use the elevator, we climbed the stairs of the seven-story building without even being sent to take a rest.

I can not even step straight forward because of fatigue. Searching in the dark we reached the door of the terrace. He knows the way well because he climbs every day. He knew I didn't know but walked on as if he didn't know.

"...w...a...i...t..." I said, struggling to breathe properly. I'm almost in a state of death right now. Leaning against the wall, I said in a low voice, "Gimme some time."

Chris is still normal and he is not tired. It's the result of his daily workout. He took a deep breath and put his hand on his hip and said, "You need workout every day."

I don't have the strength to speak to him.

He still looked at me with a smiling face. In fact, I am not in a state to enjoy that beauty right now. If the situation were different I would definitely enjoy it without blinking.

I am very sure, he will be a romantic hero who will seduce all the girls. See, what I was thinking when I was in a state of going to die !

After resting in the staircase for five minutes, I asked, "Shall we go?"
All this time Chris put his hand to his chin and waited to hear when I will say this.

Both stood up with a long sigh. He opened the door to the terrace. I'm disgusted with it's sound.

It was the kind of sound that happens when you open the door in a horror movie.

There is a fear when you open it even though you know there is nothing beyond it.

The door opened and the cold wind that came in made me shiver. It really amazed me that this 'strange creature' was moving forward casually.

I changed all my thoughts and took a step towards the terrace.

I'm Amazed!

My eyes almost narrowed to come out. Lips pursed, unable to say anything. Stood dumbstruck as if in shock. I slowly moved eyes , my head tilted like a robot and looked to both sides.

The next second I exploded at him.       " WHAT THE FUCK "
"Didn't I tell you you'd be amazed" He hunched up his shoulders.

I see nothing but darkness. There are two or three stars somewhere in the sky, almost faded. Why say more, the moon doesn't even see. Only Darkness Darkness Darkness....

"I can't even see you," I said in a cold, trembling voice.

I folded my hands for warmth and rubbed because the blowing cold wind can turn me into a statue. I can't say anything properly and clearly without trembling. Yet I shouted at him.

" You wake me up in the morning with an bursting alarm to show this darkness?"

" Yahaha " he laughed mischievously.
Heard the sound of his shoes, he was in a hurry to continue with his workout.

"Enjoy this cold breeze" His hands seemed to be stretching and his voice was stretching too.

"I'm gonna freeze if I enjoy this" My anger did not subside.
He did not answer.

I walked back and said, "I'm going home."

"Bye" Chris didn't stop me.

Soon I came down from that darkness. I ran down the stairs.

The dim yellow light in the corridor brought life to my eyes again.
I was in the dark for about an hour.

I don't remember exactly how many times we ran around the quarters. I don't know why, when I reached to the door I felt some strange laziness. I felt like I can't open the door, but I have to.
