Author's POV :
Rishma scrolled through the photos Chris had sent in the morning. She scrolled through each photo without even looking at what it was.
In fact, she is eagerly searching for his face in every picture. Desperately she had to scroll through each image and abruptly ended up on the last one.
She leaned against the huge pillar in the college corridor and placed her phone on top of the wall. Keeping her eyes fixed on the ground, she crossed her arms over her chest and thought something in her head. She didn't even realize how long she was out of class.
"Rishma."
Her professor Fred called her from behind. Still she is lost in thought and doesn't hear his voice. He patted her shoulder, bringing her back from her deep thoughts."Rishma, the interval is over, go to class." He said humbly. He speaks only politely to his favorite students, Rishma being one of them.
Do you know the reason? Indeed, she is an intelligent girl.
"Sorry sir, I didn't realized it." She searched for words and apologized for her carelessness. She picked up the phone from the wall.
"Is everything alright?"
She looked at him in surprise as she gripped the phone. She felt that he should not know that Chris was acting in Alexander's film. So she didn't give a damn about him.
"Yeah. I'm fine." She mustered up the courage to lie, it was very difficult to lie by looking a person in the eye.
"I've noticed in the past few days that you're restless, you're not answering questions I ask in class, there are lots of typos and strikes in your assignments, and there's no record on the computer that you've visited the library. Is something bothering you or are these students bullying you?"
"No, nothing sir." She opposed aloud.
She later realizes that he noticed her strange behavior so she can't lie to him. There is only one way for her to act as normal as she was before.
"I have a problem at home. I was thinking about it. It's bothering me. I have personal problems to deal with, that's all sir. Everything will be okay in a little while. Shall I go to class now?"
She asked permission to go to class but he kept her there for the next five minutes and started admonishing her.
In the end she felt that telling him the truth was better than listening to his advices.
All his advice was in vain. Rishma could not concentrate in class that day and was drawing lines in her notebook without writing notes.

I was enjoying the pleasant weather with my hands in my jacket pockets. I watched the children going to school with their friends.
