3rd POV
Some time later and we see a now seventeen year old Y/N. He has his arms crossed and an angry look on his face. Meanwhile his foster father stands before him showing a mixture of concern and disappointment.
Dad: "Care to explain why you broke that kid's arms?"
Y/N: "He had a poor Faunus kid in a chokehold. That kid was about to have his neck broken. I had to do something."
Dad: "You could've just informed the principal."
Y/N: "Yeah, let me get the principal while a kid fights for his life to keep his neck from breaking. Cause that makes a lot of fuckin sense."
Dad: "Don't curse! You were taught better."
He sighs.
Dad: "I know you were just trying to help. But there're ways to solve problems other than indulging in violence."
Y/N narrows his eyes.
Y/N: "How the fuck would you know? You let the neighbor walk all over you."
Dad: "That's not true and you know it."
Y/N: "Then I suppose you didn't love Susan enough when the neighbor shoved his tongue down her throat?"
Dad: "There was a mistletoe so it meant nothing."
Y/N: "Then why did she marry him?"
Dad: "Because we just weren't meant to be."
Y/N: "You talk about solving problems without violence when you never used it. Kinda sad."
He stands up before beginning to walk away.
Dad: "Where do you think you're going?"
Y/N: "Out."
Heading to the garage Y/N hops onto his bike. Then pulling back the throttle he speeds away. Eventually he winds up at a bar. Heading inside he takes a seat at the counter.
Bar tender: "Aren't you a bit young to be in here?"
Y/N: "I'm a paying customer aren't I?"
The bar tender rolls his eyes.
Bar tender: "Asshole."
Y/N's brought a bottle of alcohol. Pouring a glass he brings it to his lips. But before it can be drank arguing can be heard. Y/N turns seeing a man and woman arguing. The man is nothing special to look at. But the most striking things about the woman are her long black hair and piercing red eyes.
Woman: "For the last time Jason. I'm not taking you back. Now leave me the hell alone."
Jason: "Come on babe. I swear nothing happened."
Woman: "That's bullshit and you know it."
Shaking his head Y/N walks up to the bickering former couple.
Jason: "Just one more chance. That's all I'm asking for."
Y/N: "She's not taking you back man. Learn to accept that."
He turns to Y/N.
Jason: "Who the hell even are you?"
Y/N: "No one important."
He attempts a right hook. Y/N however tilts his head the other way. Now open he slams his knee into Jason's groin. He squeals like a schoolgirl while dropping to the floor.
Woman: "Thanks."
Y/N: "No worries. What was that even about?"
Woman: "He wanted me to take him back. But seeing as he cheated on me with my best friend, I said hell no."
Y/N: "Never can trust people."
Woman: "Tell me about it."
Y/N smiles.
Y/N: "I'm Y/N. Y/N L/N."
She smiles back.
Raven: "Raven. Raven Branwen."
Y/N: "May I buy you drink?"
Raven: "You may."
He flags down the bar tender. He's poured two shots. He grabs them while handing Raven one.
Y/N: "A toast. To cheating assholes."
Raven: "And booze."
They clink glasses. Back at Raven's dorm we see her and Y/N barge in, lips deeply intertwined. Y/N lays Raven on her bed where he quickly ditches his shirt while Raven unbuttons hers. Leaning back down Y/N assaults Raven's neck. But the warm embrace of her bed draws him in, putting him to sleep. With no sense of control he quickly falls into dreamland where Raven already is.
