Meeting The Team

3rd POV

The very next day a whistle is blown loudly. Raven and Y/N scream as they're scared out of Raven's bed. 

Raven: "The hell was that for Summer?"

Summer: "Waking us up at two in the morning."

Raven: "You mean you guys heard that?"

Qrow: "Damn near everything."

Raven's teammates surround Y/N.

Summer: "So what's your name?"

Y/N. "Y/N L/N. Who're you guys?"

Summer: "Summer Rose. Team leader."

Qrow: "Qrow Branwen. Raven's brother."

Y/N: "I thought there's always four members to a team."

Raven: "There are. Our other teammate is just on a mission."

Summer: "So where is it you two met?"

Y/N: "The bar."

Qrow: "How cliche."

Summer: "Now that introductions are out of the way, we can get back to business. Class."

She looks at the clock.

Summer: "Which begins in five minutes."

Raven goes wide eyed and runs to go get ready. Before she fully leaves she writes on Y/N's hand.

Y/N: "What's this?"

Raven: "My scroll number. I'll call you when class is over."

Y/N smiles as Raven and her team leave for class.

*timeskip*

Raven and Y/N now walk down Vale's street, just having fun. They soon find themselves at the movie theater. Taking their seat the movie begins playing. But that's when they encounter the worst kind of monster in the whole world.

Man: *answers scroll* "Hello? No. Just watching a movie. I don't know some kinda chick flick. Only watching it so I can score this chick I'm seeing."

Y/N leans to the man.

Y/N: *whispering* "Hey pal, listen. I'm not sure if you've noticed but we're in the middle of a movie. So you mind putting your call on hold? Or at least take it outside?"

Man: "Piss off."

Y/N angerly leans back.

Y/N: "I'm gonna kill him."

Raven: "Don't. I got a better idea. Switch me places."

They switch places.

Man: "How the hell should I know? I only met her-"

Raven kicks the back of his seat. He screams as he's sent forward. But he's quickly silenced by smashing his face on the back of the chair in front of him. Instantly he's knocked out and falls onto the floor with blood leaking from his nose.

Y/N: "Damn. And I thought I had violent tendencies."

Raven: "Some people are just beyond subtlety. So if you wanna get through to them, you gotta be direct."

Y/N: "True that."

They turn back to the movie where Raven leans onto Y/N's shoulder.

*timeskip*

Nearly two years later we see Y/N sitting with Qrow at a bar. 

Qrow: "So you really gonna do it huh?"

Y/N: "I don't see any other option. I can't stand the way things are. I want something more."

Qrow pats Y/N's back.

Qrow: "Good luck brother. You're gonna need it. I doubt her reaction will be anything but normal."

Y/N: "Thanks."

Later that day we see Raven and Y/N laying under a tree on top of a hill. Raven smiles while Y/N becomes nervous over what he's about to do.

Y/N: "Raven. We need to talk."

Raven turns her head, facing Y/N.

Raven: "What about?"
