Do We Have A Deal?

Y/N POV

I pull back the throttle, speeding towards Anima. The trees quickly blur past me. Soon enough I find myself approaching the Valean Sea. Kicking it up another gear my motorcycle's engine begins to rattle. The Valean Sea now gets within a few hundred yards. Once more throwing the throttle, my motorcycle is pushed to its top speed. I look back to see black smoke coming out of the exhaust.

Y/N: "Come on, don't give up on me now."

I look forward as I finally hit the Valean Sea. My motorcycle easily glides over the water. I smile as I pick up more and more speed. I cross the halfway mark when the exhaust releases a loud bang. The entire bike now begins to rattle. 

Y/N: "Please hold out."

The continent of Anima gets within view. That's when I notice my speed starting to drop. Looking at my speedometer I see it rapidly falling. 

Y/N: "Almost there."

I get three quarters of the way to Anima. My speed drops to fifty miles an hour. Looking at my tires I see them sinking more and more into the water. 

Y/N: "Just a little further."

My speed drops to twenty. My wheels fully submerge. But as the water hits my boots my wheels reach solid ground. My speed finally hits zero, bringing me to a complete stop. I emit a deep sigh of relief. I then smile patting the side of my engine.

Y/N: "Knew you could make it."

Hopping off my bike I look over the damage. I then sigh.

Y/N: "Carburetor. Should've known."

I take my scroll out and pull up a map of Anima. 

Y/N: "Nearest mechanic shop is Shion. If I leave now I should arrive by sunset."

Putting my scroll away I push my motorcycle on the long walk to Shion. 

3rd POV

On the island of Patch we find Raven and Yang sitting at the dinning room table. Yang then sighs. 

Yang: "All that work, and for nothing."

Raven: "Try not to lose hope. I'm sure we're gonna find him."

Yang: "How? Our only shot at finding him was the evacuation logs. At this point we'll have better odds at finding alien life."

Ruby: "Yang, aunt Raven, come here!!!"

They run to the living room.

Raven: "What is it?"

Ruby: "Watch."

They turn their attention to the TV. Ruby presses play.

Lisa: "If Beacon being attacked wasn't enough, it seems something stranger is happening."

The camera pans to a trail of fire.

Lisa: "Just three short hours ago something was reported tearing its way through Sanus, leaving only fire in its wake. Reports say tracks end at the Valean Sea. What exactly is going on? Stay with us as we try to uncover this ever growing strange story."

Ruby, Yang and Raven look at each other. 

Yang: "It's dad."

Raven: "The Valean Sea. He's heading for Anima."

Ruby: "Why?"

Raven: "I don't know. But we have a lead."

She turns to her daughter.

Raven: "Let's go get your father."

Yang nods. Hopping inside Y/N's car Yang looks at her mother.

Yang: "Ready?"

Raven: "You sure you can drive this thing?"

Yang: "I'm about to find out."

Throwing the car in drive it takes off like a bullet. Raven closes her eyes, waiting for the ride to be over. Meanwhile Yang tightly grips the steering wheel.

Yang: "We're coming for you dad."
