Willow's Pov

Natutulog ako ng biglang tumunog ang phone ko. Kinuha ko ito ng hindi tinitingnan kung sino ang tumatawag. "Hello?"

"Scarlet, may problema tayo," Agad akong napaupo nang marinig ko ang boses ni Elliott at napatingin sa phone ko. Paano niya nakuha ang number ko?

"What problem?" Hindi ko alam pero hindi ako mapakali dahil dito. Naramdaman kong may nakatingin sa akin at paglingon ko sa bintana. I felt my stomach twist. "On second thought, parang alam ko na kung ano yun,"

"Huh? You know what I'm going to say?" he said confusedly.

"It's about Brianna, isn't it?" I heard his breathing hitched before sighing.

"You are seeing her right now, aren't you?"

"Yeah, I'm going to talk to her first and come there," I hang up not waiting for his response.

"Bria, can you tell me why did he killed you?" she didn't respond. Okay, can't be answered.

"Did he kill you because of me?" she nodded.

"I-i'm sorry," I lower my head and clench my fist. Another one. I lost another friend.

"Wala kang kasalanan, wag mong sisihin ang sarili mo. J-just promise me, hindi mo hahayaang may mamatay pa sa mga kaibigan natin. Let it end with me, okay?" she said while crying.

"I promise," I said and then she vanish.

Ginawa ko na ang morning routine ko at pumunta sa headquarters. Feeling ko isa akong pulis kaysa college student dahil sa kasong ito. Pumunta ako sa kinaroroonan ng iba at nag bow sa kanila. I went to where the others are and bow to them.

"Scar—" I cut off Captain Li.

"I already know it, Captain Li. She shows up inside of my room," I said.

"What did she say?" Elliott and I shake my head.

"She just makes me promise something," I reply before sitting.

Elliott's Pov

Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero naramdaman kong may gusto siyang gawin pero hindi niya magawa. Pagtingin ko sa kanya alam kong pagod na pagod na siya.

"I don't get it. Bakit si Brianna ang pinatay niya at hindi si Elliott?" tanong ni Archie. Nagtataka din ako.

"Kasi gusto niya akong maging masaya," napatingin kami kay Scarlet na nakasandal lang sa upuan niya habang nakapikit. "Gusto niya akong maging masaya kaya hindi niya sasaktan ang mga nagpapasaya sa akin,"

"Then let's change his perception of me," I said and they look at me. I look at Scarlet and she smirks.

"Let's do that. Let's make him believe that what he thought of you is not real," she opens her eyes and looked at me confidently.

"Mukhang may plano na kayong dalawa pero bago iyon, Scar, alam mo bang may crush sayo?" tanong ni mama.

"Bukod kay Elliott, wala akong maalala na iba," naramdaman kong uminit ang pisngi ko, at lahat ay may mapang-asar na ngiti sa kanilang mga mukha..

"Can't you stop teasing me? Be serious. Kung hindi mo alam itanong mo sa mga kaibigan mo, baka may alam sila," I said changing the topic.

I saw Scarlet dial someone. "Hello, Faith? Do you perhaps know someone interested or have a crush on me? Hindi, na-curious lang ang boyfriend ko at gustong magselos kaya nagtatanong ako,"

I saw everyone holding their laughter while I'm starting to blush again. Grabe, hindi ba siya mabubuhay nang hindi ako inaasar? Mula nang i-assured ko siya sa gym noon, nagsimula na siyang mag-warm up sa akin,and this stupid pretend lovers makes it worse. She started to tease me too much. Sinimulan na niya akong asarin ng sobra.

"Ibig mo bang sabihin noong vacant tayo at pinag-uusapan ako ng mga dati kong kaklase? Oh yeah, I remember. His name was Kayden. Kayden Woods," sabi niya habang nakatingin kay Mom at nagsimulang isulat ang pangalan sa whiteboard.

"Yeah, thank you, " she hangs up. "Now that brings memories, "

"So you remember who might be our suspects now?" Eliana questioned.

"Hmm. I really don't think about unnecessary things that's why I have forgotten about it. Now that Faith brings it up, I think I remember something but not sure if it was real since it was my former classmates who pinpoint it," she said.

"As long as you gave us the names we won't care if it's true or not. We will investigate it to find the truth," Mom justified.

"Well, noong grade 8 ako, may ka-close talaga ako and they started to ship us together. His name was Kian Carter, pareho kami ng interest kaya close talaga kami," I felt like my heart was burning nang marinig ko na malapit siya sa iba. Bakit ganito ang nararamdaman ko? Normal lang na maging malapit sa iyong mga kaedad mo kaya bakit?

"There was one more, I quite don't remember his name but I think it was Ethan or Nathan. I only remember his last name was Chaser. My classmates caught him staring at me multiple times that's why they concluded he has a crush on me but I just ignore it since I was used to them,"

I saw her expression change suddenly and her ears started to get red. "You are blushing, Scar. Is there something more?" Mom points out.

"There was actually one more. It was confirmed by my neighbor and friend there," she started unsure if she is going to tell it or not but her face is still heating up. "His name was Spencer Richard,"

"Why are you blushing, Scar?" Eliana asked.

"Cause....... I....... I also have a crush on him back then," pagkatapos niyang sabihin iyon ay tumahimik ang lahat. I'm trying to digest what she said until I don't know what comes to me pero bigla akong tumayo at lumabas ng kwarto. Willow's Pov

"Ano nanyari dun?" Tanong ko nang bigla siyang umalis.

"Uhm... Scar, may crush ka pa ba sa Spencer guy na yun?" tanong ni Eliana.

"What?! Ah no no no. Matagal na iyon, bata pa ako noon, kaya alam mo, puppy love," tanggi ko na nakatingin pa rin sa pinto.. "What's wrong with him?" I mumble.

"Let's end this meeting," Captain Li said. Everyone leaves the room until it was only me and Captain Li. "Do you need something, Scar?"

"Captain Li, How did Brianna die?"

"Her face was disfigured and the tongue was also cut," she said looking at me intensely.

"Do you know why he killed her? I know you know, you look bothered earlier when we were discussing it earlier,"

"I was controlling myself not to burst out in anger that's why hindi ko sinabi kahit kanino. Scar, namatay siya dahil hindi siya natuwa noong sinabi mo sa kanila ang tungkol sa inyo ni Elliott, at nung nakita niya siya, sinabi niya na aagawin niya siya sa iyo. Kaya naman pinatay siya ni Griffin," nakita ko kung paano sinusubukang pigilan ni Captain Li ang kanyang galit, at ganoon din ako.

"He's unreasonable. Can't he tell between a joke and a real one? Brianna has a boyfriend and they love each other dearly so she was just joking when she said that! About her being indifferent when I told them about Elliott, it was because she was trying to move on from the death of our friends," I explained harshly. I can't believe it. Just because of a mere joke he killed her. I need to stop him or else, I might ever to handle it anymore. I can't handle to lose more of my friends anymore.
